AAW "Massacre on 26th St" is in the books and what a night it was. A packed house of rabid AAW fans witnessed the below results.
* No Preshow tonight
* Jim Lynam welcomed the fans and said AAW was honored to be a part of the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup next month in Florida and said AAW was going there to win the whole thing. He announced Silas Young, Shane Holister, Arik Cannon and Johnny Gargano as Team AAW.
* Video package recapping Silas Young's match with Bryan Danielson last month and Young's apology for slapping Dragon after the match
* Phil Colvin and Derek St. Holmes opened the show in the ring and interviewed the AAW Heavyweight Champion Jimmy Jacobs. Jacobs promised to be a fighting champion and take on all comers. This brought out Ryan Boz who challenged Jacobs who accepted and it would be "falls count anywhere" later in the night.
- Shane Holister d. Jordan McEntyre, Dan Lawrence, Brett Gakiya, Nick Brubaker and Mason Beck in a scramble match
Lots of action here to start the show. Dan Lawrence took out Beck with a dive to the outside and Holister got the win with a buzzsaw kick on McEntyre.
* Post match Danny Daniels came out and announced at the Windy City Classsic it will be "Team Daniels" vs "Team Holister" in an elimination match
* Promo backstage with Jim Lynam announcing AAW had signed Colt Cabana to a multi show deal. Colt said he was excited to be a part of the roster but was interrupted by Chandler McClure who said the real big news was he had settled his legal dispute with AAW and was back. Colt challenged him to a match later on in the night.
-The Northstar Express w/ Nikki Mayday d. Krotch/MsChif when Darin Corbin rolled up MsChif
Fans were firmly behind Krotch and the SHIMMER Champion here. Nikki Mayday got involved and took Krotch out of the match. MsChif hit Ryan Cruz with the green mist but Corbin was there to get the win with a roll up.
- Colt Cabana d. Johhny Wisdom
Chandler McClure came out and said he would not be wrestling as he only had a managers license. He sent his latest student Wisdom in against Colt and it was over quickly. McClure then sent Knight Wagner in leading to.......
- Colt Cabana d. Knight Wagner via submission with a reverse crab
Entertaining match here as Wagner tried to mount offense but Colt had an answer for everything he threw at him. Colt gets the win via submission and post match McClure thought better of going toe to toe with Cabana.
* Promo backstage from Tyler Black who said he was glad to be back in AAW. Silas Young came in and said he was happy Tyler was back from surgery and was looking forward to their Windy City Classic rematch later in the night.
-The Phoenix Twins d. Flip Kendrick/Louis Lyndon with "Sweet Twin Music"
Big win for the Twins here to get back in title contention and an action packed match. In the end Tweek and Dash hit Kendrick with the double superkick for the win.
- Jimmy Jacobs d. Ryan Boz to retain the AAW Heavyweight Title with the "contra code" on the apron
Falls Count anywhere here and these two men brawled all over the Eagles Club one more time. Finish saw Jacobs hit the contra code and drive Boz's face into the apron allowing him to get the pinfall on the outside. Jacobs heads to the Windy City Classic with the belt.
* Promo from the Phoenix Twins backstage talking about being back in the hunt for the tag titles. Truth Martini showed up and said he could tell the Twins did not trust each other. He said "you two may look alike and you may wrestle alike but I have a feeling you don't think alike."
- Arik Cannon d. CJ Esparza with a brainbuster to retain the AAW Heritage Title
This one was almost all Cannon as he punished CJ for most of the match. Esparza went for his shooting star elbow but Cannon avoided the move and hit the brainbuster for the win.
*Spooky promo from Faith In Nothing live outside the Eagles Club in night vision. Vincent Nothing proclaimed " House of Truth..it's time" and pulled up on the mask of his partner Christian Faith as the crowd erupted.
- House of Truth (Josh Raymond/Christian Able) w/ Truth Martini d. Faith in Nothing to retain the AAW Tag Titles when Raymond hit Faith with the "Sky Twister Press"
Incredible match that saw a ton of innovative tag team wrestling. House of Truth isolated Vincent Nothing for a good portion of the match. He was finally able to get the tag and the match broke down with all four men. Val Malone and Mason Beck got involved and took out Nothing leading to the "Spiral of Truth" double neckbreaker and the "Sky Twister Press" (540 corkscrew senton off the top rope) by Raymond on Faith for the win.
-Tyler Black d. Silas Young with a rollup and bridge
Back and forth here as Silas tested the neck of Black early and often and began to get frustrated when he could not put Black away. Silas went for his headstand moonsault but Black had it scouted and used a jackknife cover with a bridge to win the match.
* Post match Silas swallowed his pride and went to shake Tyler's hand but was slapped in the face by Black! Tyler got the Mic and said "Good match Silas, but that was for Dragon!" as the show came to a close.
Thanks to all who came out tonight. AAW is back on 11/28 for the Windy City Classic V.
