AAW - 11/20/09 - Davenport, IA - Black/Walker/HOT

This Friday AAW returns to Davenport Iowa for "War is Coming '09". The show is the last stop before the biggest event of the year; "The Windy City Classic V" on 11/28 at the Berwyn Eagles Club and will feature some of the top talent on the roster. Let's take a closer look at the card.


AAW TAG TEAM TITLES
THE HOUSE OF TRUTH ( c )

ZERO GRAVITY


A match that could seriously throw a wrench in the plans for the Windy City Classic as the House of Truth put the Tag Team Titles on the line against Zero Gravity. Josh Raymond and Christian Able have proved to be a force to be reckoned with since winning the titles back in June of this year. They have a date with former champions The Phoenix Twins at the Classic but not if Zero Gravity have anything to say about it. Brett Gakiya and CJ Esparza have come a long way since their AAW debuts in 2008. They have matured into one of the best high flying tag teams in the country and recently made their debut on the East Coast for Combat Zone Wrestling. Now they have a golden opportunity to pull the upset and leave Iowa as the Tag Team Champions. We have confirmed that if Zero Gravity win the titles this weekend they will defend against The Phoenix Twins and House of Truth in a triple Threat match at Windy City Classic V.



STREET FIGHT

Two men that know each other well go at it once again with no holds barred. This issue has raged on for the better part of 2009 and the last time these two combatants met in a Street Fight it was Danny Daniels who had his hand raised, banishing Marek Brave from AAW in Berwyn. Marek is looking to settle the score here and take Daniels out of action for his match at the Windy City Classic where he will captain Team Daniels in an elimination match with a shot at the Heavyweight title at stake. Daniels excels at these types of wild matches but does Brave finally have the veterans number this Friday night in front of his hometown crowd? Expect no less than a crazy brawl between Daniels and Brave.




KEITH WALKER RETURNS TO AAW



The "Human Massacre" returns to AAW after a successful tour of Japan with Pro Wrestling NOAH. The former AAW Heavyweight Champion has worked out a new deal that was negotiated by Jim Lynam personally and calls for Walker to only work dates in the Quad Cities. Apparently Walker insisted on this stipulation as he feels the fans in Berwyn do not deserve to see him perform. Walker will certainly be trying to make a statement come Friday night.



TYLER BLACK WILL BE IN ACTION


The former AAW Champion will face Jay Bradley for a shot at Jimmy Jacobs at the Windy City Classic. First Black will be in Iowa taking on a yet to be named opponent. Black has looked good since returning from his neck injury with victories over Silas Young and Davey Richards bt he needs to stayed focused here as his match this Friday will effect the rankings post Windy City Classic.
