With the PPV coming in September, they probably are trying to use this as a filler so everyone buys tickets for the PPV instead. I'm sure they'd rather sellout a PPV then a Raw or Smackdown! TV show.

A house show is a nice change of pace. I've been to some WWE house shows in the past that were a lot of fun.

I still remember the time when that's all there was were house shows. Before RAW or SMACKDOWN were on tv.

Eh I disagree. They've sold out every show there in the last couple years. Plus there's going to be a SmackDown taping there a week after WrestleMania. I think because the market has been a consistant sell out, they're looking to be running there more, just like the old days.

House show? Could be fun. I'm just shocked WWE is running Allstate and not taping TV. The crowds are usually good.

They have never run shows THAT close to each other. That would be feb, april, and then september.

Right now a SD/ECW taping is scheduled here for April 6th. Believe me, I had the same thoughts. The site owner, Devin, told me they were doing the same thing in other markets, more specifically cancelling shows in smaller venues and adding them in the bigger cities.

It's a house show because Allstate Arena didn't have any availability for Mon / Tues in Jan / Feb that WWE could have used.

Surprised no one posted some matches. I know two.
Main Event John Cena and the Undertaker vs. Sheamus and Batista
Randy Orton vs Kofi Kingston
That's all they announced so far.

Here's an updated lineup from the show in Springfield, which will no doubt also happen here:
THE UNDERTAKER, JOHN CENA & EDGE vs. BATISTA, SHEAMUS & THE BIG SHOW
KOFI KINGSTON vs. RANDY ORTON
MARK HENRY & KANE vs. CM PUNK & LUKE GALLOWS
Plus: The Miz Drew McIntyre John Morrison MVP Kane Maryse Mickie James Michelle McCool
So..... who will appear from ECW? These are the last shows being promoted as featuring ECW.
