Holiday Chaos was certainly an appropriate title for our show as both chaos inside and outside of the ring were the rule at this show.
Jarod Priest & Chicago Home Wreckers [Eric Marx & Johnny Mac] def. The Butcher, Wilhelm Flannigan & "Main Event" Josh Christian
This was a wild six man tag, with Priest and co. isolating the Butcher and stopping him from tagging out for a majority of the match. Butcher finally made the tag and then brawled out of the ring with his nemesis, Priest. Mac and Marx got the win with a DDT on Christian, whom they set up for a spiked piledriver but were foiled by Tom Heisman and Matt Creed running in to make the save.
The champion "HOT BOD" SHAWN DAVIS came to the ring and asked a fan to help him pick the name of his opponent for tonight's main event from a hat. The child pulled the name of RION SKILLZ. Skillz came out and shook Davis's hand but before any words were said Simmons, Inc. hit the ring. JT told everyone that the reason he hadn't gotten a title shot was because PCW was prejudiced against him. An insulted Rion Skillz then decked JT leading to:
Rion Skillz def. JT Simmons
Simmons took an incredible beating form Skillz with hard chops that rang out through the building. Simmons came back in the second half with the help of some brass nuckles. He then kicked and chopped Rion's chest multiple times and finally a belly to back suplex. Simmons went for a roll up but Rion reversed it to pin JT.
WOMENS TITLE
Juliet, the Huntress(c) def. December
I guess it just wasn't her month. After numerous attempts to choke Juliet on the ropes, referee Pat G finally sent Joe Heisman to the back and Juliet kicked out of several pinfalls. Heisman ran back in when Juliet has a pin, but she drop kicked him off the apron. Juliet turned into December's attempt at the jawbreaker, but fought out and hit a spin kick to the cheerleader's face to pin her and become the new womens champ.
Matt Creed & "JV" Tom Heisman def Simmons Inc [Leon Tatum & Chris Styles]
It seemed like Tatum's size and strength and Styles's speed and experience would be too much for the rookie team, but they proved once again why they're the fastest up and comers in PCW. Creed got the pin on Styles a frankensteiner/senton bomb combo, while Tom sacrificed himself by taking Tatum off the apron.
[There was an incident at intermission that had everyone talking but which I won't comment on here for legal reasons.]
Steve Heisman came out and said that since his opponent for the night couldn't be here he was cashing in his number one contender status and challenging Joe Heisman for this Midwest title. Joe came out and announced that Steve would receive his shot...in 2010, but for tonight he was taking on Esteban a masked luchador, dressed in black with a full skull mask.
MIDWEST TITLE
Esteban [aka Steve Heisman] def. Joe Heisman(c)
Joe spent several minutes beating up Esteban before throwing him backstage and telling the ref to count him out. Esteban beat the count out but seemed to be wearing new shoes. He then kicked out of a pinfall, confusing Joe. Esteban then unleashed a flurry of shots to Joe's head culminating in a running knee lift. Esteban pulled off his mask to reveal Steve Heisman who nailed his reverse unprettier on Joe for the pinfall and to finally regain the Midwest title Joe had taken at Dream Night.
TAG TITLES
Body Count(c) w/PL Myers def. Whiplash & Wally Wilde w/Rick Knight
Body Count pulled out every distraction and dirty trick to take out Whip and Wally. After PL Myers got on the apron for the nth time, Rick Knight pulled him off and punched him. As Whiplash was distracted watching this Starks and Allure snuck up behind him and hit the Toe Tag for a pinfall. Afterwards, Whiplash and Rick had words as Wally tried to play peacemaker, but once again Whiplash walked out on his old buddy Rick Knight.
HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
"Hot Bod" Shawn Davis(c) def. Rion Skillz
These two had a lot of fun at the start getting a cheering contest going to see who was more popular. It was then a straight up contest between two high-flyers. Ref Pat G got taken down by a flying clothesline from Davis and Rion had a pinfall that lasted more than a three count, but Simmons Inc hit the ring and threw out Davis. JT then took a pair of clear plastic nunchaku out and cracked them across Rion's head. After Simmons, Inc left Davis got an easy pin, but a fan at ringside had snapped a picture of the attack which Rion called to everyone's attention. Shawn Davis said that he didn't want to retain after a cheap win and called for a restart. The match restarted and after a few minutes Davis got a roll up for the win. Both men shook hands as PCW closed out 2009.
