"There is always a story within a story" or "An enemy of my enemy is my friend". Brett Gakiya and CJ Esparza, collectively known as Zero Gravity, punched their ticket to immortality, and a permanent place in the DREAMWAVE record books with their victory at "Season Premiere" on February 6th, 2010. Zero Gravity outlasted seven other teams in the 8 team gauntlet, to become the first ever DREAMWAVE Tag Team Champions. DREAMWAVE fans, given a glimpse into the future of the tag team division, were wowed with an exhibition of high flying, power, and jaw dropping moves. The final team Zero Gravity encountered in the gauntlet was the debuting, If Looks Could Kill. To say that Brian Nelson and Greg Glover made an impression on everyone with their DREAMWAVE debut would be an extreme understatement. If Looks Could Kill and Zero Gravity appeared to be surprised at the similarities between each other. The main difference between Zero Gravity and If Looks Could Kill (ILCK) is that ILCK have no desire to endear themselves to the DREAMWAVE fans, while Zero Gravity are huge fan favorites. There was a time when the word going around was that no one could hang with Zero Gravity in regards to high flying and speed. ILCK put an end to that train of thought with their debut at Season Premiere. DREAMWAVE officials were said to be so impressed with ILCK that they had an 18 month contract waiting in the locker room for the new tag team. Every great tag division has a rivalry that defines it. The Hart Foundation and The British Bulldogs, Demolition and the Powers of Pain, The Road Warriors and The Four Horsemen, The Midnight Express and the Rock and Roll Express. It appears as though DREAMWAVE has it's first epic rivalry in the tag team division beginning to materialize. GT Vega went into "Season Premiere" on February 6th in great spirits. Not only was he returning from a knee injury he suffered on 12/5, but he had a shot at becoming a tag team champion and he was entered into the Lethal Lottery for a shot at Austin Roberts', World Championship. Always a student of the game, Vega was watching the opening contest of Gilbert Lewis vs Prince Mustafa Ali, from the locker room area. After Prince Ali was victorious in that bought, he grabbed a microphone and let it be known that since LaSalle took such great joy in him being thrown through a table by Austin Roberts on 12/5 he was going to "smash this nerd's (Gilbert Lewis') skull with a chair." Just as Ali was about to hit Gilbert, GT Vega made the save and ran Prince Ali off without incident..or so we thought. Before the tag team gauntlet began, Vega announced that he had another reason to be happy tonight. It was his anniversary with his long time girlfriend, Jenna. Vega went out of his way to acknowledge Jenna and tell her that he was going to win the tag titles for her tonight, on their special night. That never happened, as during the match Prince Mustafa Ali came out and grabbed Jenna, carrying her to the back against her will. Vega, in the middle of a tag team war with 1st & 10, tagged his partner, Mr. 450, and gave chase to the back. He never caught up with Ali. Business is one thing, but Prince Ali has made this feud personal. Vega was just trying to stop a fellow wrestler, Gilbert Lewis, from suffering a serious injury at the hands of the emotionally vacant Prince Mustafa Ali. The Prince apparently took offense to Vega interjecting himself into his business. Ali took it to a whole new level though, putting his hands on Vega's longtime love interest. Where did Ali take Jenna? When did Vega track them down? What price will Ali have to pay for putting his hands on the love of Vega's life? Prince Mustafa Ali joins forces with If Looks Could Kill on March 6th at "Road to ANNIVERSARY" to take on GT Vega and Zero Gravity in DREAMWAVE's first ever six man tag match.

The Alternative Title is among the most coveted championships in the midwest. The fact that the championship has been held in its entirety by one man, makes it even more desirable. For the first time in DREAMWAVE history, a true #1 contender will be decided when four challengers square off in a Fatal Four Way Challenge at "Road to Anniversary". The man who secures the first pinfall is the winner and will challenge "Next" Nick Brubaker at "Anniversary" on April 3rd. Althought there is a common goal, the four challengers could not be more different. "Mr. 450" Hammett is arguably the most talented and most charismatic star on the DREAMWAVE roster. He is a true DREAMWAVE original as he competed and set the tone for the organization with his dramatic win in the first ever DREAMWAVE match at "Beginnings" over Jason Hades. He has been an unsung hero as he has battled many top athletes in the company and has been on quite a roll recently. If it wasn't for a double cross in his championship match with Brubaker, Hammett may have very easily become champion. He is one of the most decorated athletes in Puerto Rico history and he will definitely have his sights set on becoming the top contender and getting another shot at history at "Anniversary". The DREAMWAVE career path of "Mr. 450" very much mirrors the LaSalle legacy of 2010 Hall of Famer, Acid. As a Three-Time World Champion in RCW, Acid captured the hearts and minds of the LaSalle faithful for many years in the early 00's. Just as Hammett has had to battle Brubaker and his A-List teammates, Acid had to do battle with the Double M and The Chaos Crue. In his day, Acid tore the house down on many occasions with his aerial assault, much like 450 does today. Acid has been on the comeback trail as of late after taking a long layoff from the squared circle but looked very impressive in the Tag Team Gauntlet match at "Season Premiere". At "Season Premiere", Acid also guaranteed another title reign in LaSalle, will the Fatal Four Way be his first step in recapturing past glory? Perhaps, the biggest challenge comes from DREAMWAVE's largest competitor, Marc Houston. Houston has been dominant in several outings since joining the DREAMWAVE roster at "Hart Attack". He has also recently been associated with the "Billionaire Brat" John E. Kash and has formed the tage team "Big Money". Rumor has it the Houston has been training at Kash's state of the art facility with his very expensive trainers in preparation to this match. This is Houston's biggest opportunity since his debut and all signs point to him being very prepared and may be a real favorite to walk out of "Road to Anniversary" as the #1 contender. A cloud of mystery surrounds the newest member of the DREAMWAVE roster, Japanese Superstar Ultimo Akira. Several months back, the front office began lengthy negotiations to bring Akira to DREAMWAVE. Akira agreed to a contract in January. As part of that contract he was to make his debut at "Season Premiere" but that was delayed due to unspecified travel issues. With those issues behind him, Akira makes his debut at "Road to Anniversary" with a huge opportunity to become a top contender for the Alternative Title. His advantage is that no one on the DREAMWAVE roster has seen him, either in person or on tape. He is a complete mystery which, when solved, could mean he is the new DREAMWAVE Alternative Champion. At "Road to Anniversary" four men will enter, one man will leave victorious...Find out who on March 6th...
