CLASH News Flash For February 1, 2010: First and foremost, a special thanks is extended from CLASH to the 250+ that made it out to the 75th Event Anniversary of CLASH Wrestling – Seize The Day III. Quite obviously, some stars did in fact “seize the day” while others packed their bags. The monumental event created history for CLASH Wrestling in a variety of avenues and set CLASH on a new course for 2010 with a new boss in town! Tix Available Now @ CLASHWRESTLING.COM TYLER ELKINS SEIZES THE DAY – CLASH FINALLY CROWNS A CHAMPION!After a long 7 months without a CLASH Heavyweight Champion, the rookie of the year, Tyler Elkins defeated Tommy Treznik, Dragon Kreed & Cameron Skyy to become the 4th man in history to hold the CLASH title! Although there’s plenty of more to this story and controversy to add… Going into the Fatal Four Way, it appeared the goal of Tyler Elkins & Cameron Skyy was simple – to ensure Cameron Skyy walked out as 3-time CLASH Champion. Meanwhile, the returning Dragon Kreed got his opportunity to get his hands on Elkins & Skyy who injured him back in June in addition to take the gold. And of course, the decorated Tag Team competitor Tommy Treznik whom aimed for singles success. In the end, a surprised Tyler Elkins walked out with the gold! On 02.20.2010, at CLASH vs CHIKARA, Cameron Skyy says he has questions that need to be answered by his sidekick Tyler Elkins. However, don’t count out neither Dragon Kreed nor Tommy Treznik who are also determined competitors when gold is on the line. NEW BOSS IN TOWNThe speculation to what Truth Martini’s role in CLASH Wrestling seized on 1/23 as he informed the CLASH faithful that CLASH Founder & Owner Nicholas P. Clashertone contacted Truth Martini to replace “B” as the CLASH CEO! With that being said, he made an impact by firing both Khameleon & Marty Epps meanwhile introducing new CLASH acquisitions Kid Hybrid & T-D. We know Martini has more plans for CLASH Wrestling that he is prepared to unveil at the coming events, join us on 02/20 to find out what more will change under his regime. CLASH Wrestling: Ophidian Wants RevengeIn June 2009, CHIKARA's Ophidian suffered a broken arm while competing in CLASH Wrestling's NPCI Tag Team Tournament. Now fully healed, Ophidian (alongside his partner Amasis) are heading back to CLASH Wrestling to take on the man who's knees caused the injury: J. Miller (and his partner Tommy Treznik). This doesn’t sit well with all the competitors involved, however moreso for friend “Ace High” Cameron Skyy. The thought out intention according to Skyy was for the belt to be around his waist with assistance of Tyler Elkins. The two are expected to confront one another, however don’t count out Dragon Kreed nor Tommy Treznik who also were sought out for the gold. We’ll find out what goes down on 02/20! Full Event Results From CLASH vs. CHIKARA * Jimmy Jacobs def. GQ via pinfall.
** Following the match, GQ turned on his long time partner Rave Killbourn by blaming him for their losses and start to a bad year! Will Rave Killbourn retaliate? Many questions still yet to be answered.
* Brothers Thor def. Will Vendetta & Austin Manix via pinfall.
** Unannounced, “Ace High” Cameron Skyy requested New CLASH Champion Tyler Elkins to come out. The two bickered that Elkins winning the belt was not the plan according to Skyy; then asking for a title shot that night. Dragon Kreed made his presence known and reminded everyone that he pinned Skyy at Seize The Day 3 although Elkins won the gold. CLASH CEO Truth Martini mentioned he was the “missing piece” to this puzzle and that it would be resolved Tonight in a 3 Way Dance for the CLASH Championship involving Kreed vs Skyy vs Elkins.
* Frightmare def. Danny Danger via pinfall (CLASH – 0, CHIKARA – 1 in the Best of 3 Challenge)
* Night-Life (Dave Manzo & Jack Night) (c) def. T-D & Brandon Edwards via pinfall in a non-title match.
** Keith Calhoun made his way to the ring. In a very frustrated tone due to not being booked on the event, he mentioned that he would talk to CLASH management, make sure he’s featured on March 27th, or there would be consequences.
* The Wreckingball def. Dasher Hatfield via pinfall. (CLASH – 1, CHIKARA – 1 in the Best of 3 Challenge)
* Cameron Skyy def. Tyler Elkins & Dragon Kreed in a 3 Way Dance to become a 3-Time CLASH Champion when Skyy pinned Elkins.
