Friday night, February 26th, 2010 Warsaw Center Lake Pavilion 119 E. Canal Street Warsaw, Indiana 46580
IWA Mid-South comes to northern Indiana on Friday February 26th.
Bell time - 8:00PM Doors will open at 7:15PM
Ticket prices: $15.00 front row $10.00 general admission Kids general admission (12 and under) $5.00
8 BIG matches planned for this event.
KNOCKOUT OR SUBMISSION ONLY The Necro Butcher vs "The New Horror" Sami Callihan
In October 2008, these two had their first meeting in IWA Mid South. By the end of that bout, Sami Callihan was knocked unconscious. Over a year later, Callihan has not yet had that bitter taste of defeat leave him. A pinfall will not be enough in their rematch; this time around, you must either knock out your opponent, or make him tap out. Both men are poised to throw all caution out the window for this match, with Sami seeking revenge, while Necro looks to prove that no one can match him fist-for-fist, in OR out of the ring.
JUST ADDED
SINGLES MATCH Jimmy Jacobs vs Zach Gowen
Jacobs and Gowen have a lot of history between the two of them, but one part of their history that IWA Mid South fans remember is their epic 20 minute draw last Summer. The rematch will finally happen as IWA Mid South debuts in Warsaw, but things may have changed since then. We have already seen a rift between Jacobs and other former Age of the Fall members, but what about with Gowen? Zach is also a former AotF member (and a close friend of Jacobs) but neither of those things stopped him from taking the fight to Jacobs last Summer. Now, with a very negative Jimmy Jacobs showing his colors in IWA, we are sure to see some tempers flare and a new page of history be written in Warsaw.
FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE Dixieland Destroyer vs Ian Rotten
What better way to introduce Warsaw to IWA Mid South than bringing the action right out of the ring and into their seats? If either of these men have anything left by the end of these three fights, then they will face off once again, bringing their war to Warsaw. Both men refused to do anything BUT face their enemies over these events, and Warsaw could see the end of the battle...or perhaps just the tip of the iceberg. Either way, Ian has declared that this series will be Dixie's "trial by fire" and Ian Rotten is the judge, jury, and executioner.
ALSO COMPETING: Tyler Black "The Psycho Shooter" Drake Younger Osyris, the 400 pound juggernaut! ...plus more!

IWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE TOURNAMENT MATCH Osyris vs "The HYPE" Jimmy Shalwin
True heavyweights collide in Warsaw! Osyris made a dominating first impression in IWA Mid South on our return show back in November, solidly defeating the Necro Butcher, who has since advanced in this very same tournament. Based on that fact, many believe Osyris deserves a chance in the tournament himself, and the 400 pound juggernaut was anxious to get a chance to run through all the other entrants. His opponent, "The HYPE" Jimmy Shalwin (who had an impressive singles win as recently as Kings of the Crimson Mask 2) is an IWA Mid South cult favorite and an opponent who has faced Osyris many times in the past. The careers of these two mirror each other well, as both started out in the same area about a decade ago, and now their story comes to the first round of the title tournament.
JC Bailey vs "The Psycho Shooter" Drake Younger
Two hardcore hybrid icons will finally meet in an IWA Mid South ring! Since his debut in this promotion, Drake Younger has been compared to JC Bailey by company founder Ian Rotten. Now we will get a chance to see if that comparison was prophetic and if it holds true as these two go one-on-one. Both men mix several styles of wrestling, and will have to be on top of their game to prove who does it best in 2010.
Jon Moxley vs Sal Thomaselli
Two top-notch hard-hitting competitors will go head-to-head on February 26th. While both men may, at this point, have their eyes set on a championship run, they will have to put that in the back of their minds for this bout...and if either happen to fall short of their goals in prior days, then they certainly will be looking to take out their frustration on their opponent on this night.
ALSO COMPETING: Tyler Black Bill The Butcher Shane Hollister Ryan Phoenix The Hooligans Matt Cage "Mr. 450" Hammett The tag team known as Victorious Secret ...plus more!

Not a real shock with IWA's track record, but I hope everything is OK with Ian and family.
