I would like to thank you for a video that is not 30mins of Barry Ryte. There are other people in the company that deserve to be seen especially wcpw's vet roster.

Who the hell is Barry Ryte? BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think WCPW is bogus for running a tournament for Lee Sanders & ONLY 1,maybe 2(Anthony & dta) knew him!!! I thought the rules to the Sanders cup was that no one that won it before could participate in tournament again? (ie..Anthony) I went last year, only to support the Sanders family & it was good to see wrestlers that don't work for WCPW show their support. I hope to see them again this year.

Why can't we all just support a good cause and end it at that! Let's get by the negativity and look foward to a show like this!

BobbyJ here...Im tired of all this WCPW rookie bad mouthing.. SO here is the truth.....
First..many of the current WCPW were young fans of WCPW when Lee Sanders was wrestling. Maybe they didnt know him personally but they saw him as a "wrestler".. a hero and role model. Some of these fans became wrestlers thanks to men like Lee Sanders..and now they are carrying on the tradition to keep the Sanders memory alive and respect his legency!!
Second...As for the vet roster...WCPW always welcomes their roster to come in on training days to do promos. No one that I know who has shown up and is ring ready has been refused a promo. If a veteran is not there for training or falls behind on dues, kind of hard to be seen on promos.
Third..But eho is Barry Ryte ajd is he the future of WCPW? Barry is the new generation of WCPW superstars. He along with many of his fellow mates has spent more time in and out of the ring training and then most of the current indy veterans I know.
This new generation of WCPW wrestlers work as a group. It reminds DeCero of the old days of training and is why moves like the piledriver has been lifted. Even though many dont have the ring time, history or experiences shared by men like Boz, Hell's Cowboy or Mad Dog Manson, these guys are spending on average 4 times a week in training and the results are seen the high quality shows that have been out on this year in 2010. This is a die hard new generation of WCPW wrestlers that will soon impact the Midwest independent feds for years to come. Give it time and they will produce the ring time, have the experience and will make their own history. Men like Barry Ryte and Buddy Roberts Jr already have writing the first few pages of their history..more will follow.
While many of the past and current WCPW vets are now in their 30's and some reaching their 40's..many who are long gone,semi-retired or thinking of retiring...WCPW continues to add more and more rookies to their training school.
It is this new breed of wrestlers lead by the likes of Barry Ryte, Buddy Roberts, Mannix, Mulligan, DTA and the Black Panthers, Justin Insane and Lopez and many many more names that I failed to mention are the true future leaders of Midwest indy wrestling. I hate to say it but in 5 to 10 years from now..it will be these rookies that will be in high demand and that will replace the Steve Boz's of today.
Just think..if 350 people came to St Florian to see a bunch of rookies put on a show that only veterans can put on..what a bright future WCPW will have !!

Thanks Bobby J! That means alot to us rookies! We have been working Hard! We have been in that ring every practice and giving it a 150%! All we ask for everybody to give us a chance! We may not me BOZ, Austin Roberts, or Two fingers who have pave the way for us... But we have a lot of heart and dertermintation to be the best in the midwest!

I have to agree with bobbyj on this about the lee sanders tournament. There is not many workers that are still active that had the pleasure of knowing, let alone have been in the ring with lee. I'm glad that wcpw still keeps his memory alive and does a little bit to help the sanders family. I was doing the foreigner gimmick back when lee was around. He was doing the army gimmick along with hunter paine. Sorry hunter, can't remember your name from back then, but I was in a nice little feud with them and had the pleasure to be in the ring with lee. Its a good thing that they still have the tournament and I hope that it stays around for as long as windy city is.

This is not one that I am going to get into...except Please do not over use the word "Superstar". If you put that label on a new wrestler, what are the veterans called? Super Nova Stars?
