Thank You to the 300+ Chicago Style Wrestling Fans that came out to see the show!!
Official Attendance was 279 paid, 300+ total.
The film crew for "Sadermania" Fanship to Friendship was on hand all night taping for the documentary. Some of the back stage interviews included Jimmy Hart, Austin Roberts, Steve Boz and Rudo Cortez.
The show opened with Chicago Style ring announcer, Andres Salamanca welcoming the crowd and introducing New Chicago Style Commissioner, Chris "Sadermania" Sader.
"Sadermania" then brought out legendary manager Jimmy "Mouth of the South" Hart. Jimmy was talking to the crowd when he was interrupted by Nick Cutler. Nick Cutler berated Chris Sader and challenged Sader to a match, asking Sader if he was Red & Yellow or just plain Yellow? Sader accepted and the match was on!
This then brought out Austin Roberts who confronted Chris Sader about his match with Keith Walker saying he was injured and wasn't going to wrestle. Roberts then asked Sader to change the match, Sader said "No" and Roberts grabbed the Commissioner by the throat. Keith Walker hit the ring causing Roberts to run to the back!
Remi Raines & AJ Steel d. Dave Rydel & Thunderfoot. After the match Rudo Cortez confronted Remi Raines and the two had a impromptu match that ended in a pull apart. It seems that the once tag team partners are now at odds and they are both looking for revenge!
Nick Cutler defeated the much bigger and stronger Doug Simmons when he used the ropes for leverage and got the pin.
Mark Anthony & Milo Cash d. Diego Corleone & The Galactic Grappler
"Mr. 450" Hammett successfully defended the NWA LUCHA CHICAGO Championship defeating Bryce Benjamin.
Chris "Sadermania" Sader defeated Nick Cutler with the Big Boot and the Leg Drop!!! While "Sadermania" was celebrating with the ref Steve "Hammy" Hammond, Austin Roberts viscously attached Chris Sader with a chair. Roberts hit Sader first in the head causing Sader to be split open and bleeding profusely! Roberts continued the chair assault on Sader hitting every part of the commissioner body. Four security guards hit the ring and Roberts made very quick work of all of them. The onslaught didn't stop until Steve Boz and Mark Anthony hit the ring making the save for a beaten and broken Chris "Sadermania" Sader. Sader was carried to the back by his good friends.
In the much anticipated Tag Team Match, The A-List w/ Ryland Foxx d. The Soul Touchaz w/ C Red & Dymond.
In the Keith Walker & Austin Roberts match Ref Chris Hedford was accidentally hit by "The Human Massacre" with a spear when Roberts move out of the way at the last minute. As Walker was checking on the ref Austin Roberts wrapped a steel chain around his fist and and punched Keith Walker in the face causing the giant to topple. At this point ref Hammy hit the ring counting the 1 2 3 for Roberts and announcing him the winner. Then a limping and still groggy Chris Sader came out and reversed the decision calling Keith Walker the winner via disqualification.
Its looks like "Sadermania" and Austin Roberts are on a collision course that cant be stopped!!
In the main event of the night Chicago Wrestling fan favorite Steve Boz defeated Puerto Rican Superstar Noriega in a fast paced, highly contested match up. The crowd was fully behind Steve Boz the whole match!!
The next Chicago Style Wrestling show will be May 15th. Details very soon!!
