AAW "Point of no Return" is in the books and one of the rowdiest crowds in AAW history witnessed the below results. (Quick results, details to follow)
Pre show:
Johnny Wisdom d. "Pyscho" Mike Crawlins
Jeff Brooks/Mark Jahlil d. "The Bumpin Uglies"
---------------------------------------------------------------------
* Show opened with a promo frm Truth Martini. He said the House of Truth were banged up after the barbed wire match last month but they got rid of The Phoenix Twins and they were on their way back to the top. He said Mason Beck would finally crush Dan Lawrence like the cockroach he was in the weapons match later.
- Trik Davis d. Danny Daniels with an Ace Crusher
Before the match Daniels called out SHane Hollister who came to the ring with Scarlett. Daniels said Hollister was faking his broken leg to duck him. Shane pointed out he has a metal plate nad ten screws in his leg the rest of his life. Daniels kicked Hollisters crutches out from under him and Trik had seen enough. Hollister distracted Daniels leading to Davis's victory.
* Promo from Silas Young and Irish Airborne outside the building. They were interupted by Kevin Harvey who told Silas the office wanted him to pick a contnder at random to defend his title against. (He had done the same the night before in Iowa). Silas was not happy when he drew Colt Cabana's name.
- Knight Wagner d. Jason Dukes with a Samoan Drop
Dukes looked impressive in his return hitting Wagner with an inverted Finlay roll and keeping the rest of the Chan Clan at bay until Wagner hit a Samoan drop for the win.
* Post match Wagner called out his uncle Derek St. Holmes who left the announce position and headed to the ring. DSH took the high road and would not lay his hands on his nephew. Jordan Mcentyre was itching for a fight and got Colt Cabana leading to....
-Colt Cabana d. Jordan Mcentyre via submission with a reverse crab
* Kevin Harvey interviewed Jeff Brooks and Mark Jahli. Ryan Boz came out and destroyed them and was about to take out Harvey again (he gave him a boz driver on the floor back in Februaury) when Harvey pleaded his case and brought out Jay Bradley leading to.......
- Jay Bradley d. Ryan Boz with a big lariat
Battle of the big men here with the tide turning once Boz missed a clothesline on the outside and nailed the steel post. Bradley continues his impressive win streak with the lariat.
- Northstar Express d. Krotch/MsChif after Arik Cannon attacked MsChif
MsChif had Corbin in a submission hold when Cannon attacked out of nowhere and hit an exploder suplex on the former SHIMMER champion leading to win for the NSE.
* Promo from Dan Lawrence outside the building earlier in the day with the crowd. He was chugging his bottle of Malort liqour and getting psyched up for the Fan Bring the Weapons match,
-Dan Lawrence d. Mason Beck in a wild Fans Bring the Weapons match
Hockey sticks, Kendo sticks, a Macintosh CPU, a lamp, a guitar and assorted other items came into play early. Beck launched DL into the crowd with a fall away slam a cut his forehead wide open with a cheese grater. Lawrence rallied and nailed Beck with an uncooked chicken and hit a tornado DDT onto a pile of weapons for the win. Lawrence then turned his attention to Truth Martini and broke his Malort bottle over the H.O.T leaders head.
-Arik Cannon d. Louis Lyndon with the Glimmering Warlock to retain the AAW Heritage Title
Lyndon got several near falls including a prefect Dragon Suplex with a bridge but the champ was just too much and put away the unorthodox youngster with the Glimmering Warlock.
* Promo from Jay Bradley. He wants a shot at the Heavyweight title.
-Zero Gravity d. The House of Truth via DQ after Truth Martini attacked ref PJ Drummond
Very competitive match with lots of innovative tag team manuevers. ZG had the match in hand when Truth Martini pulled referee PJ Drummond out of the ring and decked him with a right hand leading to a rare DQ. Gakiya and Esparza did not look satisfied with the win and are already petioning for a rematch.
-Silas Young d. Colt Cabana with a roll up to retain the AAW Heavyweight Title
Very solid mat work from both men and the crowd was behind Colt in a big way here. Silas in the end was able to escape once again with the belt after a roll up and use of the ropes for leverage.
-Tyler Black/Jimmy Jacobs d. The Irish Airborne to retain the AAW Tag Team Titles despite interference from Silas Young when Black hit Dave Crist with the "Gods Last Gift"
Both teams hit high impact moves in the final moments of this match and Silas Young hit the ring and nailed Jacobs with the title belt. Tyler Black was able to save the pinfall and hit the "God's Last Gift" on Dave Crist to retain the titles and the tag champs then cleared the ring. As the show came to a close both Black and Jacobs went to pick up the AAW Heavyweight title belt and stared at each other before celebrating their win with the fans.
