Melanie Cruise announces she will be the final participant and first ever female in the King of the Royals.
The first match of the night was the tables match. Ruthless Ramon slams Dynamite thru a table to take home the victory. At one point during the match the Sinmates run out and help their comrade but were chased out by Happy and Homeless.
In a submission only match, Justin James taps out to Eric Freedom, thanks to Mr Ricolo. After being knocked down once by James, Mr Ricolo on the ring apron, grabs James as he approaches him and sling shots him off the top rope. Freedom quickly takes advantage and applies a triangle choke to force Justin James to submit. When the match was over and James still out, Freedom slips a diaper on James and sticks a pacifier in his mouth with the crowds approval.
Happy and Homeless(Cousin Eddie/Chris Cairo) win the Poww Tag Titles when they beat The Sinmates(Xcon/Dehok) in this "Anything Goes Match." Wild and crazy it was.
After intermission Jimmy Blaze makes WrestleRage VIII announcement. Poww roster at ring side for this . All depart except for Ruthless Ramon who Blaze wanted in the ring. After a little talk Blaze flatlines Ramon atop a steel chair. Blaze then says May 14 when they meet in the TV Tournament their match will be a street fight.
Trevor Blanchard is now the new King. Blanchard eliminated Melanie Cruise then Kanoa in The King of the Royals match to capture that honor. Blanchard now owns the Keys to the Kingdom. Anytime within his years reign as King, he can cash in any of the three keys. One represents an opportunity for a shot at the Regional Title, anytime, anyplace. Same goes for key number two, a shot at the Poww tag titles. Anytime anyplace with a partner of his choosing. And a key to the Poww World Title. Anytime, anyplace, anywhere he can cash the key in.
Noize, Booze and Tattoos (Crossing/Spade) take 2 of 3 falls from Picture Perfect(Logan Scott/Gage Quinn). Each win a fall by dq. The third fall, Crossing and Spade double team an ace crusher on Quinn for the win. At one point Melanie Cruise walks out and enters the ring with a steel chair. Nikki,(who has been out with a leg injury thanks to Picture Perfect) comes out and brawls with Cruise.
Brandon Bishop pinned the Great Malaki to retain the Poww World Title. After the match The Hell Fire Synphony, still feeling the effects from the wild anything goes match, run out and attack the world champion. A handful of superheroes run out and chase the evil doers away. When the smoke cleared, Trevor Blanchard appears and cashes in the key to the world title. Blanchard meets with Bishop the weekend of May14,15.
