here's my results from the show tonight which was so much fun.
neil diamond cutter pinned matt cage in a 7 man scramble match, also involving sal thomaselli, nick brubaker, kyle threat, dan the man and bucky collins. these guys kicked things off in a big way, and it was hard hitting and full of actiodin. at the end, cage took a sick diamond cutter giving neil the shot at the light heavyweight title in bellevue on 4/30.
up next, dixieland destroyer and bill the butcher brawled and pretty much beat the hell out of each other. they threw some of the stiffest looking forearms on the show but ultimately, dixieland picked up the win. definitely would love to see these two go at it again.
in a san francisco street fight, the hooligans defeated victorious secret. there was some questionable weapons being used during this match, but it was a lot of fun. the hooligans continue their hot streak in IWA with yet another victory. but victorious secret went move for move with them and had a good showing.
drake younger pinned simon sezz with a version of the ki krusher in a very good, back and forth battle. after the match, drake said that he would wrestle simon again at anytime, anywhere or any place. i'd definitely like to see that be done because these two had a very good match. crowd was very into it.
tarek the great defeated american kickboxer #2. for those familar with old school IWA-MS, the second coming of AKB is very talented and brought it to his protege's former rival. good stuff and as with the prior match, the crowd was very into it. fun match.
ryan phoenix retained the light heavyweight title against markus crane. phoenix was busted open during the course of the match, but hit his corner death valley driver on exposed turnbuckles to pick up the victory.
ian rotten went to a no contest with jc bailey in barbed wire madness when the hooligans and dixieland destroyer came out and attacked both men and left them lying in the ring. post match, ian made sure to let everyone know that he and jc would find their way to get revenge in much more colorful language than i'm typing right now.
all in all, despite another low draw in litchfield, but a great show from top to bottom. so many great matches, moments and more. the IWA-MS guys definitely know how to give their fans the best show possible. show your support and purchase the dvd when it comes out. smart mark video was in attendance and there was commentary, so keep your eyes open.
