Jaysin Strife vs. Ryan Phoenix for the IWA-MS World Light Heavyweight Title
Is Jaysin Strife the next IWA Light Heavyweight champ? Yes, according to Jaysin himself. Jaysin has made no bones about airing his grievances regarding the "lack of opportunity" in IWA. He's boasted about the fact that he is the best athlete in IWA and should be the rightful champion, but Ryan Phoenix disagrees. As the current champion, Ryan has successfully taken on all comers, under any circumstances, and with any stipulations. He freely admits to not being the best "athlete" in IWA, but proves time and time again that he has the most heart. Will Jaysin dethrone the Rocky Balboa of IWA, or with the proverbial heart continue to beat?
Jon Gresham vs. Jimmy Jacobs
Jon Gresham is a relative new comer to IWA, but one that everyone is already familiar with. Not being known for his patience, Jon decided to test his skills against the very top talent that IWA could offer right off the bat. Let's be honest, it takes quite a large amount of testicular fortitude to go up against the likes of Tyler Black and Drake Younger in your freshman year. Win or lose, Jon proved to everyone that he belonged. Having already taken on Jimmy in a 3 way match on night one of the King of the Death Matches, Jon put in the request to test his skills against Jimmy Jacobs in singles competition. Jon has his work cut out for him, because in case no one had noticed, Jimmy Jacobs is no slouch. No man in IWA history is more synonymous with controversy than Jimmy Jacobs. Fans can look back at the history of IWA and point to numerous occasions that are burned in their memory, incidents that shifted momentum and rocked the very foundation of IWA, all at the hands of Jimmy Jacobs. The list of wrestlers that he has beat reads like a who's who, and there don't seem to be any signs of slowing down. In this battle of epic proportions, who will be victorious? The IWA of old...or the IWA of new?
The Hooligans vs. Victorious Secret
There seems to be an interesting case of love/hate between the Hooligans and Victorious Secret. The Hooligans hate Victorious Secret, and Victorious Secret LOVE the Hooligans. Why is anybody's guess. These men have already fought twice in the past in tag team action, and the Hooligans were victorious (pun intended) both times. This doesn't seem to have upset Cameron Salem and Mason Conrad (Victorious Secret) at all. On the contrary, they've made it clear that they will take every chance they can get to rub up on their "boy toys" as they put it. Taking into consideration that the Hooligans are extremely homophobic and that Victorious Secret have no shame, will the two erotic men be able to exploit their sexuality to gain a victory?
This will be the last IWA-MS show in central IL until Sept.
Stay tuned as we have more updates coming soon!
