I thought these results would have been posted by now. IWA-MS was at the Pyramid Club in Addison, IL for a Saturday afternoon show. The show started a hour late at 3:30pm. It was a decent show and the fans enjoyed it. I've only been to a few IWA-MS shows so if I butcher a name, I hope either scar or a fan will correct me.
1. Neil Diamond Cutter vs Matt Cage
These two always give great matches. It was a physical bout with tons of fists flying. Neil kicked out of a Cage power-bomb late in the match. Marcus Crane would cost Neil the match by pushing him off the top rope. Cage got a submission using a Texas Clover Leaf. The Hooligans stormed the ring afterwords to save their fallen brother.
Winner: Matt Cage
2. Ian Rotten vs Jaysin Stryfe
Originally Ian was suppose to challenge the DixieLand Destroyer to a barbed-wire match. That did not happen. The match began with too much trash talking by both competitors. There was a lot of mat wrestling action. The younger Stryfe would end up taking the veteran to school by injuring his foot and making him tap out to a toe hold.
Winner: Jaysin Stryfe
3. Donnie Peppercricket vs Brian Gott
A very short but physical match. Peppercricket used an impressive inverted piledriver similar to the Magnificent Muraco to score the pinfall over Gott.
Winner: Peppercricket
-------------------------------Intermission Break-----------------------------
4. Keith Walker vs O'Cyrus
Walker, who is a big guy, dwarfed next to his much larger opponent. Keith was on his game nailing his opponent with a spear and an excellent German suplex. The larger O'Cyrus would steal a victory by reversing Walker's sunset flip attempt by hooking both Walker's leg and the top rope.
Winner: O'Cyrus
5. Dodgeball Superstar Tyler Preagle vs Derrick Cornell
Cornell was a spitting image of the Briscoe Brothers of ROH fame. Cornell almost got the duke with a spinning power-bomb. Preagle managed to take Cornell's legs out from under him while attempting a top-rope move. Preagle scored a pin after dropping Cornell from a fireman's carry onto the mat.
Winner: The Dodgeball Superstar
6. Jimmy Jacobs vs Bucky Collins
This was the match of the night. Many hard knife-edge chops were thrown in this match. Collins accidentally took out a camera that was used to show baseball on two of the large screens. Bucky was impressive at times but was no match for the ROH star. Jacobs won by submission.
Winner: Jimmy Jacobs
7. The Hooligans vs Marcus Crane & Matt Cage.
This match was a fight with many good spots. Crane is a very interesting character.
Winners: Crane & Cage
Considering the time, venue & line-up got changed around, it was still a solid show.
