World Champ Rex Hart charged the ring and cut off Mr Ricolo during his introductions. Hart uttering, Ruff Crossing doesn't deserve a title shot. Out comes Crossing. The two went back and forth with rants and finally Hart declaring no title match for Ruff. Owner Jimmy Blaze comes to the ring and agrees with Hart and says the match will still take place tonight. If Ruff wins , he will get a world title match at Wrestlerage.
In the opening match, Kanoa defeated Zain Ramzey.
~ Nicholas H was introduced. Nick H still claiming he is looking for talent. Nick H, much like Rex Hart was met with a near capacity crowd of disses and boos.
Gentleman John Campbell defeated Scott Spade. Spade nails the ace crusher on Campbell. As the ref was making the three count , Rex Hart grabs the ref and pulls him off. Ruff Crossing also at ringside then brawls with Hart all the way to the locker room with the ref looking on. Meanwhile Campbell rolls up Spade, grabbing the tights for the pin.
Picture Perfect retained tag titles over the Sinmates when Xcon was pinned. Dehok claiming he was the legal man. Psychotic Rage appears and Jimmy Blaze announces there will be a 4way tag title match October 15 in Hoffman Estates with the winners going to WRESTLERAGE and facing Demolition for the Poww Tag team Titles.
Taylor Made was waiting in the ring for her opponent Sweet Cheeks when Melanie Cruise walked thru the curtains. Cruise tells Made, at this time Psychotic Rage come to ringside, she has two choices. First choice is forgetting the match and joining Picture Perfect or taking whats behind door number two. Cousin Eddie and Nikki appear and even the sides for a 6person tag. After a Blaze powerbomb, Mitch Blake pins Cousin Eddie as the Ladies of Poww battle outside the ring with Melanie Cruise getting the worse of it all.
~ Marco Cordova was introduced. The 200 plus crowd just like Nick H and Rex Hart , spared him no mercy with their chants of TURTLE. Cordova wasn't happy as he hasn't heard any type of response from the challenge he gave Shane Douglas. Cordova seeing a fan wearing a Shane Douglas t-shirt was invited in the ring. After a few questions Cordova smacks the young fan in the face. Cordova walks away, pleased.
Out of nowhere, Die-namite, with his feet on the ropes for leverage, pinned Chris Cairo.
Television Champion Justin James issued an open challenge. Mikey Wild returns and takes up the offer. James goes on to get the victory and issues another open challenge for the Double Shot weekend.
In the Main Event, Poww World Champion Rex Hart pins Ruff Crossing. Ref Parella gets sandwiched between the turnbuckles and Ruff Crossing after two huge splashes from the 300lb Hart. Crossing goes down as does Parella. Hart goes for the cover but no ref. Ruff gets up and attacks Hart nailing the pump handle slam, Ruff covers , but no ref. Meanwhile in comes John Campbell and puts a beatdown on Crossing. At this point the fans are chanting for Spade . Spade then runs in and helps his partner. Campbell throws something into the eyes of Spade as Crossing cleans house on the Canadians. Ruff goes to check on his partner and was met with an ace crusher by Spade. With Crossing out and Spade still blinded, Hart crawls over and pins Crossing with Campbell aiding ref Parella. After Crossing comes to, Spade apologizes saying he didn't know. The two settle down drink a few beers together when Ruff labels Spade upside the head with a beer bottle. Ruff then goes into tirade, ranting he has had enough and to all to go kiss his @$$. Crossing grabs the stunned Nikki and walks away as Kanoa, Cairo and Taylor Made help the blood soaked Spade.
Things are really heating up in Poww. With Wrestlerage on the horizon , the Double shot weekend in Hoffman Estates Oct. 15,16 should be real interesting.
