AAW's Windy City Classic is in the books and a packed Berwyn Eagles Club witnessed the below results.
Pre Show:
Jak Ferrick/Zak Ferrick/Tommy Knockout d. Jayden Adams/Dutch Doyle/Johnny Wisdom w/ Ryland Foxx
Bobby Beverly/Gregory Irons d. Austin Mannix/Jeff Brooks
------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Krotch w/ Scarlett d. George Jamison with a stunner / roll up combo
*Promo from Jimmy Jacobs. He said he didn't like his partners but tonight they had to get on the same page to take out Silas Young and Irish Airborne.
- CLASH (Cameron Skyy/Tommy Treznik)w/ Mena Libra d. Juice Robinson / Samuray Del Sol with a double uranage on Juice
Juice and Del Sol were ready to meet one on one when CLASH came out and challenged them. The make shift team put up quite a fight but in the end CLASH was just too much. After the match they continued their attack until Krotch and MsChif made the save.
- Johnny Gargano d. "Mdogg20" Matt Cross with a roll up
Excellent back and forth match here as these two traded near falls for much of the match. Gargano avoided a moonsault and got a quick roll up for the win.
* Promo from CLASH backstage. They said their message did not include violence against women but MsChif was testing their boundaries.
- "Sweet n Sour" Larry Sweeney d. Chris Hall to retain the ICW/ICWA Texarkana TV Title when he used brass knucks.
The big man Hall controlled a good portion of this match until Sweeney went to the tights for the brass knucks and scored a KO blow to retain the belt.
* Post match Sweeney called out MsChif who had hit him with the green mist two months back. She came out and Sweeney once again tasted the mist. CLASH then hit the ring and viciously attacked the former SHIMMER champion until Krotch intervened with a steel chair.
* Promo from Zero Gravity. Brett and CJ said they were happy to finally hold the Tag Team Titles but knew they had a tough defense coming up later against the Northstar Express.
Shane Hollister d. Arik Cannon w/ Dave Prazak to retain the AAW Heritage Title after two consecutive Buzzsaw Kicks
Hard fought match from both of these long time rivals. Cannon worked the reconstructed leg of Hollister for much of the bout and the champion showed great heart and resolve to come back and eventually hit two wicked head kicks that put Cannon out.
Mason Beck d. Jordan McEntyre w/ Eryn with a powerbomb
Knight Wagner d. Derek St. Holmes with a scissor kick in a respect match
St. Holmes was distracted by Eryn when Wagner took advantage and got the pinfall. DSH fufilled his part of the stipulation when he shook Wagner's hand after the match. The handshake however was a little too hard for Wagner as he grimaced in pain. None the less a big victory for Knight.
* Promo from Dan Lawrence backstage. Said he didn't trust Jimmy Jacobs or Ryan Boz but tonight they would have to go through hell together in the Berwyn Street Fight. He said he was gunning for Silas Young and his Heavyweight Title.
- Zero Gravity d. The Northstar Express to retain the AAW Tag Team Titles
Exciting action here which has become the trademark of the AAW Tag Team division over the years. The NSE looked good in this match despite not teaming together for several months. In the end however it was stereo sliding drop kicks from Zero Gravity on Darin Corbin that got them the victory. Post match Ryan Cruz went to hug his partner but Corbin refused and walked to the back alone.
* Promo from Silas Young and Val Malone. He said they had put their family back together because they are people with high regard for family values. He began to talk about the Berwyn Street Fight when he was interrupted by Mason Beck who warned Young he had his eyes on the Heavyweight Title.
- Colt Cabana w/ Eric Priest d. Chandler McClure w/ The Chan Clan in a Loser Leaves AAW match
McClure faked a knee injury early in the match only to return and have the Chan Clan handcuff Eric Priest to the ropes. Zero Gravity then came out and secured the key from Knight Wagner allowing Priest to clear the ringside area and Cabana submitted McClure with the Billy Goat's Curse banishing him from AAW.
Post match Eric Priest offered McClure a champagne toast saying he still respected Chandler but then hit him with the F69. The men now formerly known as The Chan Clan then came in and turned on McClure! Chandler was beaten down but still managed a salute to the crowd before exiting the ring which was met with applause by the fans who have loved to hate him over the years.
- Silas Young / Irish Airborne d. Jimmy Jacobs / Dan Lawrence / Ryan Boz in a Berwyn Street Fight
Wild fight that spilled all over the building. There was some tension on the Jacobs / DL / Boz team but they managed to inflict a lot of punishment on their opponents. In the late moments Silas Young taped Jacobs hands behind his back but he was still able to apply the "End Time" choke! Young was about to go out when Val Malone came in a blinded Jacobs with hair spray to the eyes. Mason Beck came to ringside and carried Malone to the back so she would not be able to interfere further. Dan Lawrence then reentered the fray and Jacobs mistakenly hit him with a low blow. This allowed Young to hit the PeeGee Waja Plunge for the victory.
Post match Ryan Boz laid out Young with the Boz Driver and posed with the AAW Heavyweight Title belt. Dan Lawrence and Jimmy Jacobs had a shoving match as the night came to a close.
Thanks to everyone who came out tonight. AAW had another great year thanks to our dedicated fans!
