AAW started off 2011 with a packed house at the Berwyn Eagles Club. Here are the results.
Pre Show:
-Matt Knicks/Matu d. Ace Martino/Markus Krane
- Gregory Irons d. Benjamin Boone w/ Ryland Foxx
------------------------------------------------------------------
*Show opened with a promo from Silas Young and Val Malone backstage. He informed the crowd that Ryan Boz had dropped out of his title match and Young claimed he was scared so he faked an injury. Shane Hollister entered the locker room and informed Silas he had just been granted the title shot in the nights main event.
- Samuray Del Sol d. Juice Robinson with a spike hurricanrana
* Promo from Knight Wagner, Jordan Mcentyre and Eryn now known as "The Awesome Threesome". They claimed 2011 was their year to win the AAW Tag Titles.
* Derek St. Holmes interviewed Joey Eastman in the ring. Eastman said he hadn't forgotten about Truth Martini and the beat downs he received last year but he wanted to talk to the Northstar Express. Corbin and Cruz came out and reluctantly accepted Eastman's offer to be in their corner.
- The Awesome Threesome (Wagner/McEntyre) w/ Eryn d. The Northstar Express w/ Joey Eastman after a stack DDT on Corbin
Eastman and Eryn got into a catfight which distracted the Northstars and allowed Wagner and McEntyre to gain the advantage and win the match. Corbin and Cruz were not happy after the bout.
* Promo backstage with Krotch and Scarlett introducing his cousin Marion "The Stache" Fontaine. Krotch warned the CLASH that he and MsChif were ready for them tonight.
- Johnny Gargano d. Mdogg20 Matt Cross, Arik Cannon, and Marion Fontaine in a 4 way dance when he pinned Cross with a roll up
Very exciting match here as Fonatine had an impressive debut, Cross put his high flying on display and Cannon showed his hard hitting style once again. In the end it was Gargano pinning Cross for the second consecutive show.
* Promo for AAW's debut at 115 Bourbon St on 2/11. The video announced Raven will make his AAW debut.
- Mason Beck d. "Amazing" N8 Mattson with a big powerbomb
The former AAW Tag Team Champion and Michigan Invasion member returned after a three year absence and the fans let him have it with "Detroit sucks" chants just like the old days. Beck continues an impressive win streak with the victory.
* A strange promo aired promoting the debut of a new wrestler at AAW's Bourbon St debut. The video said this man was a legend and had called out anyone in the AAW locker room. That man is....... Dustin "Screech" Diamond and he makes his AAW debut on 2/11
- Jimmy Jacobs d. Jake Crist with a top rope senton
After the contest Dave Crist came out and Irish Airborne attacked Jacob's knee. Dan Lawrence made the save leading too....
Irish Airborne d. Dan Lawrence/Jimmy Jacobs after a spike tombstone piledriver on Jacobs
Some tension and miscommunication coupled with interference from Val Malone cost DL and Jacobs here. After the match Lawrence laid down a challenge for a rematch on 2/11 in a steel cage!
* Promo from Mason Beck. He issued a warning to whoever won the AAW title match that he was coming for the belt.
- Zero Gravity d. Nick Brubaker/Jesse Emerson to retain the AAW Tag Team Titles when Esparza hit the shooting star elbow on Brubaker
- "The Human Massacre" Keith Walker d. Chris Hall with a huge lariat.
Fans were shocked when the former AAW champion returned. This was a hard hitting match between two huge men and Walker displayed some impressive Japanese style striking finally finishing Hall with the lariat.
- THE CLASH (Cameron Skyy/Tommy Treznik) w/ Mena Libra d. Krotch / Mschif w/ Scarlet
Mena Libra got involved leading to Mschif mistakenly hitting Scarlet with the green mist and ultimately falling to a double Death Valley Driver from the CLASH
* Phil Colvin attempted to interview Keith Walker backstage but he said "he had found someone that would do his talking for him" and left. Joey Eastman then came in and dissed Walker. Eastman was in a foul mood and issued a challenge to Truth Martini to fight him on 2/11 at 115 Bourbon St!
- Silas Young d. Shane Hollister to retain the AAW Heavyweight Championship
Incredibly dramatic main event to start off the year for AAW. Hollister refused to say die in this one and kept coming at the champion. Irish Airborne got involved but were run of by Dan Lawrence. Hollister looked poised to win the title until Val Malone got on the apron and Hollister mistakenly nailed her with a buzzsaw kick right in the head. Hollister went to check on her and Silas rolled him up for the win. Post match Silas left Val laying and celebrated with the title belt held over his head
Thanks to everyone who came out. It was fun night had by all.
