As the show opened, it was announced that the PCW Heavyweight Championship match was now a Lumberjack match!

Johnny Mac vs Christopher Avonts went to a double count out, therefore no winner was declared and the #1 Contendership spot was ruled vacant.
At this time, "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff came to the ring to a standing ovation. He thanked the fans for their support and asked them to keep him in their prayers as he fought through his illness. After a thunderous chant of THANK YOU, PAUL broke out, he signed autographs and took pictures with everyone.

Gen Pop came to the ring and announced that they too wanted a PCW Tag Team Title shot, but they didn't want to wait until next month. They also said that they wanted to rip into Simmons, Inc because of all the problems they've been causing in PCW lately. Therefore, the PCW Tag Team Title Match was turned into a threeway match.
