Preston Maxwell came out before the show started and very sarcastically asked the fans sign a get well card for Matty Star, who he injured in January. Tony Cortez came out and let Maxwell know that he would be looking to get his title back in the main event.
.) Supafli defeated David Clark. Supafli returned to PWP and took on David Clark in a very hot opening contest. These men battled back and forth, however in the end Supafli got the big win.
.) Shawn Nautilus defeated Derek Cornell. The Beautiful Bodies received a great ovation from the crowd this evening. Cornell was upset by Nautilus who won the match and then proceeded to shock the crowd by calling out Abu Colossus for March, saying he was in PWP to make an impact.
.) "Sensational" Sean Cruz defeated Darren "Thunder" Russell. In a shock to some of our fans who have been around for a while, two former PWP stars returned to action this night. Darren was now Darren "Thunder" Russell and "Sensational" Sean Cruz both came out to a warm welcome. These two tested the waters after neither man had wrestled a match in PWP for over 2 years. In the end Cruz won the match and the men shook hands afterwards.
.) "The Rockstar" Jimmy Rockwell defeated Zach Thompson, Sir Bradley Charles, & Joey Daniels in a Fatal Four Way match. The men in this match knew the stakes were high and that the winner would come out much higher on the proverbial ladder in PWP. We saw dives, and all sorts of incredible maneuvers. In the end, Jimmy Rockwell was able to get the pinfall on Zach Thompson with a very impressive reverse huricanrana.
.) Chris Havius defeated Branden Juarez via DQ. This first time meeting was very dangerous, as they brawled on the floor and through the crowd. Havius kicked out of everything Jaurez threw at him, which frustrated Juarez to the point where he grabbed a steel chair and blasted Havius with it repetedly. He then left the arena, as Havius was helped up, looking very very angry.
.) Brian Gott defeated "The Passion" Zac James w/ Axel Greece. The Bodies returned to the arena one more time looking to get a win over one half of the PWP Tag Team Champions. Zac James was all business this evening however, and he focused on inflicting damage to Gott. Once again Axel Greece tried to cheat, however this time it backfired on him and the Bodies were able to get a bit of revenge on James for the last time they met in the ring. Gott got the impressive win here.
.) PWP Heavyweight Championship: Preston Maxwell defeated "Babyface" Tony Cortez. In another shocking event here in PWP, Cortez made his entrance for the match and was superkicked by someone wearing a ski mask! That man removed the mask and was none other than Jaysin Strife, returning to PWP after a 4 month absence. David Clark ran out to the aid of Cortez, or so we thought, however he turned around and delivered a vicious T-Bone Suplex to Babyface, aligning himself with Strife. Preston Maxwell took advantage of this surprise, made the referee ring the bell and quickly submitted the icon of PWP. Afterwards, Strife had some choice words for Cortez, saying he still owed him a title shot, but was worthless considering he no longer held the title. He explained that he was gone making a name and a career for himself and now he came back for his title but Cortez couldn't make good on the offer. Maxwell then attempted the same dangerous chair shot he did that injured Matty Star the month before, but Jimmy Rockwell & Supafli came out to make the save for Cortez. This prompted a challenge to Strife, Clark & Maxwell and we had an impromptu 6-man tag team match.
.) Tony Cortez, Supafli & Jimmy Rockwell defeated Preston Maxwell, Jaysin Strife & David Clark. Cortez kept trying to get his hands on Strife but every time Strife managed to weasel his way out of it. Cortez was finally able to get in the ring and pin David Clark, winning the match, but just starting a new war between Strife & Cortez. Maxwell then reminded the crowd that he was still the PWP Heavyweight Champion and there was nothing anyone could do about it.
We now look to Saturday March 12th - the main event has been signed, and is guaranteed to be HUGE - the war between Chris Havius & Branden Juarez will come to a violent and bloody end, as these two men put it all on the line in a NO ROPE BARBED WIRE MATCH!!!!
