THE OVERWEIGHT PERSON WITH THE BELT, IS THE PROBLEM WITH WRESTLING TODAY. I BET HE IS THE OWNER. "The overweight person with the belt" is perfectly specific and, along with the capslock cruise control, demonstrates your ability to make a valid argument. It also demonstrates your working knowledge of the product you are attempting to criticize, further validating your obviously well-informed point.

I'm trying to criticize? I'm not trying to criticize, I'm criticizing. I know this product very well. I have paid to see this product. That's why the negative comment. I'm also not trying to impress anyone with an extensive vocabulary and perfect spelling, not trying to impress anyone with words from the beyond, As you're doing. You are missing the point sir, as a fan I think this is the problem in the industry. People who are completely out of shape, with a championship. It looks very bad.
By the way, awesome job with the posters and the videos. Nothing personal

You are missing the point sir, as a fan I think this is the problem in the industry. People who are completely out of shape, with a championship. It looks very bad. By the way, awesome job with the posters and the videos. Nothing personal I always present with extensive vocabulary (which is why posting in public forum is my part in the company). That isn't to impress, that's just how I write when I know it's going to be viewed by people I don't know personally. I didn't miss the point. Your point was that you personally view the physical aspects of a wrestler as the only factor in whether or not they are good at wrestling. MY point is that you made a general insult about one of our top guys without making an argument supporting why that particular wrestler is "what's wrong with wrestling". The only argument you presented was his physical appearance in comparison to your personal preference. I definitely disagree with you as whichever "overweight guy" you might be citing as the problem with wrestling is likely a better story-teller and all around worker than many "better looking guys" on the scene. As for the deeper generalization of someone who doesn't please you visually holding a championship being the problem with wrestling, my argument will always go back to Dusty Rhodes.

Also, thank you for the comment on our production team stuff.
I understand that you're voicing your opinion, and you're allowed it, but when you pick out an individual, especially one that is respected by and Representative of our company, it is taken quite personally.
Had you posted in the general forum that you think "Out of shape looking champions are what's wrong with wrestling" instead of coming into a specific fed's thread and posting about a specific person, it wouldn't be taken as a personal shot.

First, I will like to thank you for your response, It is very refreshing to know that there are people on this forum with professional ethics, and with the gift to be capable of presenting their ideas or opinions clearly. Something that I apparently fail miserably on this day. I have entered into the conduct (bad habit) of posting in this forum the first thing that comes to my head, with the result of running the mouth with very little substance at times. At least it looks that way.
To be noticed that my opinion is not ONLY based on the physical look of this particular wrestler. Is one of the factors but not the only one. I respectfully believed that he cannot wrestle either. Thus the comparison with Dusty Rhodes I can not give validity.
On another note, You wrote that you took this personal, and that bathers me, I truly feel bad about that. I apologized for making you feel that way. I think we can all express our opinions without going into making it personal. Looking at it, I can see your point. It was not the intention.
Peace

It will be interesting to see what surprises take place at this show. If you missed my Pro Wrestling Pick in 3/10's 52 Weekends magazine, it featured VWAA's Open Challenge Night 7 in Oak Forest along with a picture of "Old School Brawler" Rick Walsh. You can check out the online version of the article at: southtownstar.suntimes.com/entertainment/virtusio/4190478-452/pro-wrestling-pick-vwaa.htmlAlso, if you haven't seen it yet, the 3/11 Pro Wrestling Extra topic on my Elaborating on Entertainment blog features comments from VWAA's Jay J. Valiant, Mason Conrad and Cameron Salem about Open Challenge Night 7 in Oak Forest. You can check that out at: blogs.southtownstar.com/entertainment/2011/03/pro_wrestling_extra_a_conversa_29.htmlFeel free to pass along the link to others who you think might want to share their comments about this topic. A few notes about using the "Leave a comment" feature on the blog:-- While there is a field asking you to provide your e-mail address, that e-mail address will not be shown to the public once your comment is posted. -- The grey Captcha box sometimes trips up people because it's hard to see and very particular about the characters being typed in exactly. To be on the safe side, you should copy your text elsewhere before hitting the Submit button in case the Captcha kicks out your comment. -- If you've used the "Leave a comment" feature correctly, you'll get a message saying that your submission is pending approval. Note: I approve all non-spam comments as soon as I see they have been submitted.
