Figured I'd start posting results again. I've been lackadaisical with updating news lately, other than the graphics and such. So, here... we... go!
New Midwest Wrestling made it's debut at South Fork Jr/Sr High School on Saturday February 26th, just ONE night after South Fork won it's IHSA Boys Basketball Regional Championship and in the Main Event, it was the MVP of that game, "The Young Thriller" Derek Moss, that went up against New Midwest Wrestling veteran, Bobby "The Business Houston"! In front of a hot, packed crowd, New Midwest Wrestling stars put on one of the best wrestling events in recent memory.
---
Hitting off the action first, though, was "The Dodgeball Superstar" Tyler Priegel defending his Central Illinois Championship against Scott Keyes. The two young men went toe to toe all match, but it was the interference of Truk Thompson which ultimately cost Keyes his first title win in New Midwest Wrestling.
---
When each of their respective partners were unavailable for the night's festivities, the New Midwest Office forced Benz and Eric Ruffington to tag up against the newly signed tag team of Dixieland Destroyer and Randy Ray. The pairing of Benz and Ruffington seemed to work, as after one pounce Benz laid out Randy Ray and all was said and done.
---
Tom Arson walked out and berated the Kincaid crowd, touting success stories and how his plan might almost kinda work for them. Suddenly, Eric Logan exploded onto the scene and shoved Arson's words down his throat. Arson pulled some cheap tactics, winning the match, and inflating his new ego.
---
Earlier in the evening, Stephani King approached Executive Producer Justin Clark backstage about her tag partner for the evening, Jonathan Magnus, not being in the building, thus negating a reason for the Mixed Tag match signed between them ve DTM and Miss Mayday. Clark then informed her that he had received word that Miss Mayday wouldn't be in attendance either. He claimed he didn't see a reason why it couldn't be Dan The Man vs Stephani King, but allowed her time to find a partner to even it out just a bit. Stephani found a HUGE partner in Truk Thompson. The big football player handled most of the match against DTM, with Stephani getting her cheap shots in here and there. DTM kept his chin up, but was unable to strike a lady. However, one miscue led to Truk Thompson laying Stephani King out and causing enough distraction for DTM to roll Stephani up, gaining the win.
---
Intern Producer Tony G was tasked with his second match in New Midwest Wrestling when he faced independent wrestling standout, Matt Cage. Cage proved that experience plays a lot in pro wrestling and came out on top, despite Tony's fighting spirit. Tony returned backstage, downtrodden, knowing that may have been his last opportunity.
---
New Midwest Wrestling Champion, Ryan Phoenix personally handpicked Christian Rose for his first title defense. Impressed with Rose's ability and hard hitting style, Phoenix saw the opportunity as a chance to prove he was a fighting champion. A lot of pride came out in the form of sweat in this match, as both men hit hard and came to win. Ultimately, it was Ryan Pheonix's Death Valley Driver into the corner that gave the champ a successful first defense. Both men shook hands, and Phoenix gladly welcomed the opportunity to fight Rose again.

The New Midwest Wrestling Tag Team Champions, Attitude Inc (Spencer Powers and Guy Smith) were on deck for a title defense against Danny Cannon and Alex Castle, the Full Metal Jackals. After beating the hell out of the Jackals backstage, Attitude Inc figured they were in for an easy night. But such was not the case, as the Jackals put up one hell of a fight, putting everything on the line to try to win the New Midwest Wrestling Tag Team Championships. The interference of their one man entourage played an integral role in denying the Jackals their opportunity, but it didn't come without cost. Attitude Inc barely scraped by here, as the Full Metal Jackals put up quite the resistance.

In the Main Event, New Midwest Wrestling rookie, "The Young Thriller" Derek Moss went toe-to-toe with the man who has been a thorn in his side since September, Bobby "The Business" Houston. The fans of Kincaid were on their feet the entire match, in support of Moss. And after a dance off, many close calls, and a blockbuster, the Young Thriller came out on top.

We had a very successful outing in Kincaid and hope to come back in the VERY near future! But we bring it back to our home of Lanphier High School on Saturday March 26th for the ACE OF SPADES!
