VWAA Manifest Destiny IV (5/14/11) Results

I enjoyed the new look to everything and how it was all changed up. good event all around. my thoughts on the matches. i liked the dinero vs shinning match it was funny and to the point and lead into the battle royal. i liked that rookie joe won it and liked that dinero was knocked out for the entire royal or playing opossum. next wave finally lost which i am very happy about. the fans were split on who they would cheer for team wise until sumo got in there and cleaned up. the teams are shaping up and i like that. jake and valentino vs victorious secret was a good match. i think the turning point was when one of the victorious secret guys slipped off the middle rope, seemed to cost them in the end. backwoods brown is simply a killing machine. sinclair has never been manhandled like that as far as i know but it was deserved considering the circumstance. it was good to see jett still have her match. is it a record now that sinclair lost two matches in one night and maybe the fastest title match ever? never been too much of a hardcore match fan but the invitational match was rather enjoyable. the michael jackson dance was hilarious albeit cheesy but it was very entertaining and perhaps one of the 3 top moments of the night for me. amazing looks like he and ovirload may be getting back together. the crowd was shouting team ko. my first real shock was when isaias defeated ivan manson. what a surprise. ivan missed a big dive on isaias and could not recover. isaias took advantage of the situation and ivan had to be carried out. i like shocks and surprises but i dont know how to classify rookie joe winning a title over akuma and atlas. dumb luck perhaps. i think neither atlas or akuma took this kid serious and kind of brushed him off. atlas destroyed akuma and had him beat but wild irritated atlas and he foolishly paid attention to him rather than rookie joe stealing the pin on akuma. atlas didnt take kindly to that and smashed both men with a chair but really took it out on akuma with that chair. atlas stood tall and left with the title but officials in the back mustve cut him off since the title was returned to joe quickly. i wonder if dy&h will have atlas go after this kid now? atlas will need a medallion though first. the main event!!!!! osb had a video that almost made me cry. i grew up with exactly what was on that video. i think that alone may have been my moment of the night but then the match happened and i was presented with real pro wrestling. osb continues to be my favorite vwaa personality and the match he and titan had should certainly be up for match of the year already. great way to end with titan on top and handshakes all around. true old school heel fashion by osb with the handshake. whoever is next on walsh's list better watch out. maybe the best vwaa show to date in my opinion.
