The fans packed the house for this one. Great show from start to finish.
In a traditional lucha 6 man:
Pentagano, Atomico & Flash Metal def Crazy Clown, Alfa & Ovirload
In a very fast paced match of Big Men Jarod Priest Def. Rob Michaels
Youth Gone Wild Def. Diego Corleone & GPA
In rivalry that has been going on for months: Furia Roja & Golden Star
def. Ripper & Funebre but after losing the rudos went crazy beating their rivals. Chief refferee Seemore Buttz had to get in between. GALLI owner came to the ring and told the rudos he was sick of them being sore losers. Ripper grabbed the Mic and challenged Golden Star to a Mask VS Hair match at "GALLIMANIA 3" GALLI owner interfered and declared that there would be a match but it would be a 4 way. The last man eliminated will lose his mask or Hair. As everyone knows the ultimate humilation in Lucha Libre is to lose your Mask or Hair.
In the 1st Championship Match of the night:
"To Crown the 1st Lucha Chicago All Pro Tag Team Champions"
Danny Nieves Declared that "Los Aliados" were taking home all the gold tonight.
His wish came through in this one as Marshe Rocket & Acid Jazz def. Discovery & Rey Fuego to win their 1st gold in Lucha.
In the 1st Main Event of the night, Danny Nieves continued to look like a profet as Willie Richardson def. Emperador to earn the GALLI International Championship ending his reign of almost a year and a half.
In the Main Event
Noriega and 450 Hammet went at like they were wanting to prove who the best from Puerto Rico. The crowd was going crazy as the match went back and fourth until finally Fan Favorite 450 Hammet got the Victory. The crowd went wild and celebrated with the champ after the match.
We want to thank all the fans that made this show possible. GALLI has seen a lot of changes over these 4 years. But the thing we are most proud of, is that when we decided to make GALLI truly International in the 2nd year people doubted anybody would like the mixed style of Mexican and American Wrestling. In tonights show even though 90% was probably Mexican I believe that we proved that people will like a wrestler for his ability more then anything. People were on there feet for Jarod Priest who has been in GALLI about a year, People like Youth Gone Wild are can light up any crowd. The Soul Touchgaz can light up any crowd even if they dont speak Spanish. In the Main Event Hammet proved why he is called Lucha Libres Favorite Boricua. He has truly become a Lucha Libre Star.
Lastly we want to thank all the guys that believed in the concept and were not here today but laid the foundation. People like Bryce Benjamin, Joey Marx, Victorious Secret, Prince Ali and anybody we have not metioned including all the Lucha Stars that took the risk with us.
