November 12, 2011 Results!
1.) Darren "Thunder" Russell & Vic Victory defeated "Cheap & Dirty" Preston Maxwell & Shawn Nautilus. Maxwell & Nautilus came out and announced that they, along with Branden Juarez are “Cheap & Dirty” and they are going to destroy not only Victory & Russell, but that Juarez was taking the title from Matty Star later in the night. Victory & Russell had trouble getting one up on their foes, but after Victory nailed Nautilus with an enziguri and a few well places kicks, Russell was able to lock in the Gorilla Clutch submission on Maxwell, and the former PWP Heavyweight Champion tapped out!
2.) "Joe-Dozer" Joey Anderson defeated "Cowboy" Troy Hansen. Two newcomers to PWP with something to prove, as both vied for position. Anderson was talking some trash to the fans, while Hansen took a no nonsense approach to the match. A big nearfall after a splash from the top from Hansen, however one well place kick to the nuts, while the referee's back was turned, was all it took for Anderson to get the win.
3.) Jeff O'Shea defeated SM King. King came out, much to the PWP fans surprise. The former Stephen Saint spoke about how he had not been in PWP in a long time, and since then he has learned a lot about life, started a family and was ready to earn the fans respect. These two men put everything they had into this match, with several nearfalls and close calls for both. King went for his finisher but O’Shea was able to reverse it, and roll King up for his first win in PWP! The crowd was excited, and after the match, King & O’Shea shook hands. However, King must have had a change of heart, because as O’Shea was leaving, King nailed a vicious kick to the back of the head, followed by a disgusting cross armed piledriver. After that, the worst of all came, as King nailed a brutal curb stomp on O’Shea that had him bleeding from the mouth; it opened a gash into his mouth pretty bad.
4.) Joey Daniels defeated Brian Gott. Daniels came out and informed the crowd that Derek Cornell was not there. He challenged Brian Gott to a match and Gott accepted. A very solid match between these competitors came to an abrupt finish when Daniels put his feet on the rope for extra leverage to cover Gott and get the pin. Afterwards he got on the mic, and said he expects his title shot next month, and he still has the number one partner in mind to help him win!
5.) "Heroes For Hire" - "Rockstar" Jimmy Rockwell & "Unbreakable" Zach Thompson defeated "Sensational" Sean Cruz & Abu Colossus. The newly dubbed “Heroes For Hire” came out and insulted Cruz, calling him a lost little boy and asked who his second grade partner was going to be. They quickly changed their tone when the all too familiar music of crowd favorite Abu Colossus hit, and he made his way to the ring! Colossus was able to get the best of both men early in the match, however, one underhanded tactic led them to get an advantage over Cruz. Cruz went to the top rope, but Thompson knocked him down and his leg got caught in the turnbuckle. As Colossus was trying to unhook him, The “Heroes” nailed Abu with a few double team enziguris and dropkicks and both men’s weight on top was enough to get the very rare pin on Colossus!
6.) "Simply Ravishing" Ryan Slade w/ "Manager Supreme" Axel Greece defeated Sir Bradley Charles. Slade, in his first singles bout in a long time in PWP, set to take on the man who at the time was still undefeated in PWP, SBC - Sir Bradley Charles. These men put on a fantastic wrestling match for the crowd here in PWP. Both men vied for position, and through the match, it was back and forth. Axel Greece tried to get involved, and got nailed in the face for his troubles. Slade however was able to nail a beautiful Fisherman’s Suplex to get the pin on SBC, and end his winning streak in PWP. Slade gloated afterwards on his way to the back, and SBC told the crowd he is man enough to admit when he has been beat, but he still holds the PWP Anytime Anywhere Contract which allows him to challenge for any PWP Championship at any time. He told the crowd that he wants the PWP Heavyweight Championship and he will be paying close attention to Matty Star.
7.) Branden Juarez & Matty Star wrestled to a no contest. The fans were waiting for this one, as both men stood toe to toe in the ring and the crowd loudly cheered for Star. They brawled on the outside, and when back in the ring, both men were able to get the advantage at various points in the match. Juarez nailed his finisher, but Star was able to kick out and Juarez couldn’t believe it! Star went for a knees to the chest in the turnbuckle but Juarez pulled the referee in the way and it all broke down from here. Star nailed the Falcon Arrow, and Lionsault, but the referee was out and couldn’t count the pin! He motioned for the Top Rope Falcon Arrow but Preston Maxwell & Shawn Nautilus made their way to the ring. They were quickly followed however, by Vic Victory & Darren “Thunder” Russell. The referee came to and quickly rang the bell. They brawled for a bit, with Star, Victory, & Russell getting the upper hand. Matty Star asked for the microphone and said he was sick of the BS and he challenged “Cheap & Dirty” to a 6 Man Tag Team Contest for our December 17th event!
The match has been signed and WILL happen!
Details for the December 17th event will come very soon, thanks to all the fans who came out, we love you and appreciate you!
