AAW's 7th Annual Windy City Classic is in the books and what a night it was with several break out performances and a main event blood bath. Here are the quicky results.

Elimination Match:

-Sami Callihan/Johnny Gargano/Gregory Iron/J. Miller all survived to make it to the AAW Heavyweight Title bout.

-J. Miller pinned Austin Mannix
-Johnny Gargano pinned Matt Fitchett
-Gregory Iron pinned Shane Hollister
-Sami Callihan submitted Louis Lyndon

- Samuray Del Sol d. Alex Colon

- Keith Walker/Jesse Emerson w/ Truth Martini d. Awesome Threesome w/ Eryn

- Darin Corbin d. N8 Mattson w/ Truth Martini

*Post match Tweek Phoenix returned to AAW to save Darin Corbin from a House of Truth beatdown. The two former rivals shared an awkward moment as Tweek exited the ring

- CLASH (Cameron Skyy/ Tommy Treznik/Mena Libra) d. Zero Gravity/MsChif when Mena Libra pinned MsChif

- Ryan Boz d. Mason Beck in an unsanctioned match via rear naked choke

- Michael Elgin d. BJ Whitmer to retain the AAW Heritage Title

*Both men showed respect for one another and received a standing ovation following this bout

- Irish Airborne d. Josh Raymond/Christian Able to retain the AAW Tag Team Titles

- Silas Young retained the AAW Heavyweight Title in an elimination match

* Shane Hollister viciously attacked Gregory Iron before the bout and hit him with a brainbuster on the floor. Iron would not make it into the match

- Silas Young pinned Dan Lawrence
- Sami Callihan submitted J. Miller
- Sami Callihan submitted Johnny Gargano
- Silas Young pinned Sami Callihan

This really was a hyper competitive match. Callihan and Silas went at it tooth and nail in the end and the crowd was on fire. Sami had Silas trapped in his "stretch muffler" submission and it appeared the champion was out. His hand dropped once, twice and almost a third but Silas was playing possum and quicky reversed the position into a cradle for the pin. A must see match.

- Jimmy Jacobs d. Arik Cannon in an "I Quit" match. Cannon is gone from AAW for 90 days.

Bloodiest match in AAW history with a wild finish. Jacobs ends the feud making Cannon say "I quit" in the end time choke.

What a night and what a crowd. Thanks to all.

Shane Hollister attacked Gregory Iron? And I missed it?

Does the AAW realize how many people are kicking themselves in the anal region upon missing this? How soon before the video is released. Also, feel free to do more of this to spike business.

Nothing against Gregory. Honestly, he's a smart and even tougher young man for just having to live through his ordeal mentally, let alone the torture of the physical condition he has to deal with. But to go past that threshold? And be wrestling? Insurmountable and many compliments to the young lad.

But there is a backlash from a segment of the audience. We hear it from people all the time and laugh at some of it because this is wrestling and if you can't take a joke, screw you. If you can't take criticism, then much worse to you, but come on! This kind of stuff BRILLIANTLY plays to the crowd of any detractors and I want to ask you who booked this.

Wait a minute! Don't say it, it's perfectly fine because you're preserving Kayfabe.

Just send our compliments " to the chef " because whoever booked this is on the right track business-wise, and THAT is what WE are on the lookout for.. on the Hardcore Hotline!

Congratulations are in order for Silas Young on his performance and his reign as champion. I think it is time for a POLL question from ME!

That's a pretty good way to do it, if you ask me.
