PCW would like to thank all of our fans for making Winter Meltdown 2012 a huge success with a PACKED HOUSE!! Here are your results:
Wilhelm Flanagan def. Joe Heisman w/ December
After the match, Flanagan grabbed the mic and announced his decision to cash in his title shot that he earned as the 2011 Power Cup winner for February's show.
*It should be noted that during this bout, a fan in the front row shoved December, which prompted December to defend herself until security arrived and escorted the fan out of the building. December was ordered to the back and Management had to reiterate to the audience that they were not to aggressively touch or attack the wrestlers.
"X-Pac" Sean Waltman came to the ring and thanked the fans for their enormous support, as well as the wrestlers and the crew in the back for putting on the show. He then left to sign autographs and take pictures with the fans.
Gen Pop w/ JTW vs. Simmons, Inc. w/ Jenna Monroe went to a Double Countout after both teams spilled to the outside in a vicious brawl that left nothing settled between these two teams.
“Hot Bod” Shawn Davis def. “2 Gun” Kevin Dunn
The proud Texan was smacked about the ring by veteran Shawn Davis before "Hot Bod" hit a Flying Elbow from the top to get the win.
“Roughneck” Jay Ryan def. “The Party Animal” Wally Wilde
The Party Animal went to the top for his signature Frog Splash, but Ryan rolled out of the way and delivered a hard standing lariat to Wilde before pinning him for the 1-2-3.
PCW Midwest Championship Triangle Match
“The Real Deal” Rion Skillz (C) w/ Jenna Monroe def. Robert Michaels w/ The Butcher and Whiplash w/ PL Myers
During the match The Butcher, fed up with Jenna Monroe's constant attempts to cheat, put The Claw on her. But despite his manager being knocked out cold, Skillz rolled up Michaels with a fist full of tights to retain the PCW Midwest Title.
PCW Tag Team Championship
Team Nemesis (C) def. Youth Gone Wild
A lot of strong team work was featured from Team Nemesis and YGW just couldn't seem to get the upperhand during this fight. Team Nemesis retains.
JTW w/ Gen Pop def. “The Main Event” Joshua Christian
A strong showing from both competitors, but JTW was the winner. After the match, he went to shake Christian's hand, but a frustrated Christian refused the gesture of good sportsmanship and stormed away from the ring.
“The Master Technician” Jay Phoenix w/ PL Myers def. “Superstar” Chris Styles
There was a lot of solid, technical wrestling in this match and once again "The Master Technician" walked away with the win.
PCW Heavyweight Championship
In what was billed as The Butcher vs. Johnny Mac, a rapid change took place. After The Butcher's decision to put Jenna Monroe in The Claw and thus interfere in the Midwest Title match, The Butcher was suspended for the rest of the show by orders of PCW Management and Referee Jake. Johnny Mac couldn't be happier and talked away on the mic until The Butcher's tag team partner Robert Michaels stepped up and took his place. Mac agreed to the match, saying that he knew he could easily defeat Michaels.
“The Feature Presentation” Johnny Mac (C) def. Robert Michaels
While Michaels put up an amazing showing of strength, it was Mac who emerged the winner.
After the match, Wilhelm Flanagan raced to the ring and gave Mac a preview of what he was in for this February. Next month in Summit, IL- Wilhelm Flanagan takes on Johnny Mac for the PCW Championship!
