AAW kicked off 2012 with the "Chaos Theory" in front of a packed house at the Berwyn Eagles Club. Here are the results.
* Show opened with Kevin Harvey backstage talking about fines and suspensions. He told referee Waldo Peeps the officials needed to step up and enforce the rules. Ryan Boz came in and put his hands on Waldo. Harvey said he had no choice but to suspend Boz for 30 days taking him out of the main event.
- Danny Daniels/Jesse Emerson w/ Truth Martini d. Marion Fontaine/Tweek Phoenix when Daniels hit Fonatine with a piledriver
*Hunter Paine made his debut during this match attacking Joey Eastman's men. Post match Martini accepted the challenge and on 2/24 at 115 Bourbon St it will be a War Games cage match Paine/Daniels/Emerson vs Fontaine/Phoenix/Corbin
*Eryn was backstage still nursing a neck injury from a Danny Daniels piledriver last month. Foxxy was trying to diagnose her when the Awesome Threesome came in. Foxxy told them to get ready as they both had singles matches later.
- BJ Whitmer d. Mat Fitchett via submission with a peruvian neck tie variation
Whitmer controlled much of the match but Fitchett rallied and got some very close near falls. Whitmer gounded the youngster and got the tap in a very good match. Post match the fans gave both men a standing ovation as they shook hands.
* Promo with Jimmy Jacobs in the ring. Says he his back feeling good after his wars with Arik Cannon last year and he's ready to once again challenge Silas Young. Irish Airborne come out and jump on Jacobs. Arik Cannon came in from the crowd and cleared the ring. He told Jacobs he was supposed to be out 90 days but he was here to fight and if Jacobs needed a partner to go after the tag belts he was game. Jacobs reluctantlly agreed.
- Josh Raymond/Christian Able d. Samuray Del Sol/TD Thomas when Raymond hit Del Sol with the "Crisis Driver".
Fun match here that started with respect between both teams but got heated as the contest went on. Raymond hit Del Sol with his new "Crisis Driver" finish to end the match.
- J. Miller d. Knight Wagner with a vicious running kick in the corner
- Gregory Iron d. Jordan McEntyre with a flatliner
* Kevin Harvey in ring promo expalining how he plans to enforce the rules in AAW. He says Boz's suspension stands and he was out of hte main event. Also said that Arik Cannon's 90 days were not up and he could not compete for the tag titles.
Jim Lynam then returned to AAW and went on a trade mark rant. He said AAW is the best wrestling around because we give the people what they want. He reinstated Boz and said Cannon and Jacobs vs Irish Airborne was on next!
-Arik Cannon/Jimmy Jacobs d. Irish Airborne with double roll ups to become the NEW AAW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS
Intense match that ended with Jacobs and Cannon accidently knocking into each other and coming to blows. As Irish Airborne attacked they side stepped them causing a collision and double roll up. Unique finish to say the least. Jacobs and Cannon looked at each other stunned as they held the belts and then celebrated as the fans went crazy.
Zero Gravity/Dan Lawrence/MsChif d. CLASH when Esparza pinned Treznik with a shooting star elbow
Crazy match. Mena Libra and MsChif brawled to the back and Zero Gravity took control getting the win for their team.
-Shane Hollister w/ Scarlett d. Louis Lyndon with a brainbuster
Awesome match here from two of the best young men on the indie scene. Lots of intensity and innovative action. In the end Hollister hit a spike Hurrican Rana on Lyndon who was on one knee. He followed up with the brainbuster for the win. Just awesome stuff here from both guys.
* Post match Hollister was going to give Lyndon a brainbuster on the outside when Gregory Iron made the save and had to be restrained by the locker room.
- Michael Elgin/Ryan Boz d. Silas Young/Mason Beck when Elgin pinned Silas after a spinning powerbomb
Very physical match here as all four men went tooth and nail. Elgin makes a big statement here hitting the AAW Heavyweight Champion with a buckle bomb followed by a huge spinning powerbomb to get the pin in the center of the ring. Fans went insane for Elgin as the show came to a close.
Thanks to all who came out. AAW is back at 115 Bourbon St on 2/24 fior "Path of Redemption".
