I have already heard there are some saying Lawler's flight wasn't cancelled & he just no showed because he didn't feel like coming. I feel bad for Mason Beck as I was really looking forward to see him take on Lawler. That is beside the point however, I know AAW pulled out all the stops and put on a great show and I look forward to picking up the DVD of this show. Great job as always to the AAW crew.

I thought the show was really well done. The only problems I had were with the exception of Jacobs, Cannon, Young, Elgin, Cabana & Iron and the main event crew was no one worked the crowd, and tried to make them part of the show. It was a fun night but most of the guys worked on the ROH spotfest style. I understand its a different style but just not my cup of tea. But for the other guys I mention above they stole show for me. They worked he hell out of the crowd, and I loved Youngs promo leading to the championship match.
Overall a good experience for my first AAW show.
As a manager I can honestly say I can never be the best after seeing what Eastman did jumping off the cage. Brother that was awesome. I hope one day to be able to work against you. Seeing you and Martini out there was the best part of the night for me.

Despite all the problems, AAW put on a solid show in front of a few hundred.
Raymond & Able vs. A3 was solid opener, nothing special, but Josh & Able did OK to get the crowd going. Don't even remember the finish.
Boz piledrove Mannix after a few minutes. He teased going after Mena, attacked by Mannix. MsChif in, misted Mannix.
Mena vs. Chif went out to the stage, into the crowd, on top of the bar. Finish was a descrator by Chif off the bar and through a table. Spot looked brutal. Better than their last match here, but that match was dead. This was over better. Funny spot was Treznik peaking out from behind the curtain and not running in.
The six-man was very crisp, few blown spots, probably second best match of the night. Good flow from spot to spot and they didn't do the cliched, rapid-fire dives to the outside they usually do in multiple man matches like this. That was refreshing.
Colt wasn't as over as you would think here. Miller's kicks were not Davey Richards-good, but good. I like him. Every time Iron ran in, Shane wanted no part of him. Shane cheap shot Iron. Miller took the duke, I think.
Tag title match was OK, Jimmy and Arik teased breakup with name-calling. Arik asked crowd to give Fitchet a hand, calling him the future. Big blowup teased btw. Jacobs and BJ, but nothing crazy.
Would have preferred Lawler over Boz vs. Beck. Nothing special, but it did give a chance to elevate Boz again by winning and keeping him in contender status.
Silas ripped this dude in the front row for acting friendly earlier and then calling Val names. Few cheers for Silas. Ref bump. Not bad, overall. Val rang the bell after Elgin got a near fall after the powerbomb. Silas won with rollup and handful of tights.
Cage match = great blowoff. Would have like 2-minute intervals for everybody to build up later entries, but it didn't hurt match. Hunter sold more for smaller guys than I would have thought. Eastman's dive was awesome. Petkovich's exact quote after the dive: "F****n Eastman."
Truth fireballed Tweek and Tweek got rushed to the back, never to be seen again. After the dive, Truth lost his pants and got his junked clamped on by Eastman. Emerson juiced huge. Corbin got blood. Fontaine hit a massive dive out the open cage door (Eastman had pulled it off the hinges) on somebody. Finish was Corbin choking out Paine with steel chair. Not over the top on mayhem, but a fine way to end it. Corbin held a "House of Eastman" sign to celebrate afterwards.
Per Danny Daniels on Twitter, next Bourbon St. shows are July 21 (Saturday) & Nov. 24 (Black Saturday, probably Windy City Classic).
