*Commissioner Rockin Randy Ricci was announced before the next match. This would be the third straight month for the Rookie Gauntlet match. Mr. Ricci stated that the winner would get a match with indy great Machine later on that night. This particular Gauntlet had six rookies in it. All six men would come out at once and surround the ring. A drawing was held backstage earlier in the night. The first two entrants would begin the Gauntlet. The loser would be eliminated from the match while the winner took on the next challenger by the number he drew. The last man standing after all six men competed would wrestle Machine.
7. The Six Man Rookie Gauntlet
A) #1 Cameron Jacobs vs Aaron Xavier
A rematch from last month's Gauntlet opening match. These two NAPW stars are each one big match away from possibly becoming breakout stars. Xavier flew off the handle with a hip toss, shoulder block and a loud slam to the canvas. Jacobs returned the favor with a powerful clothesline. A very good match by both men ending with a roll-up victory for Jacobs.
B) #1 Cameron Jacobs vs The Sea Man
The masked man from the sea started out hot. Another strong clothesline by Jacobs put him back into the match. A beautiful fisherman's suplex almost gave Sea Man the big win. The crafty Jacobs shoved referee Getch into the corner as Sea Man was attempting to fly off the ropes. The Sea Man dropped crotch first onto the turnbuckle setting up a major superplex by Jacobs for another win.
C) #1 Cameron Jacobs vs Justice Jones
The #1 heel was shocked to see the massive Jones standing behind him. Jacobs rolled out of the ring and headed towards the showers. The man who has #1 printed on his purple tights was now #2 with a count out loss.
D) Justice Jones vs DOJ (Department of Justice)
The large and in charge DOJ was one who could match power with Jones. It was a slug fest between two massive bulls. The brand of justice used by Jones prevailed with a large boot to the skull of DOJ.
E) Justice Jones vs Green Man
Green Man made his NAPW debut covered in a green body suit. Jones gave his usual pissed-off look as the man of Green began to break dance for the fans. A thunderous clothesline by Jones put Green Man out of his misery. Not a good St. Patty's Day for this newcomer.
F) Justice Jones vs Brandon Hatchet
Just like last month, we had a David vs Goliath match-up. Hatchet who is 1/3 the size of Jones fell victim to a jolting body slam.
Winner: Justice Jones
*Jones did not want to wait til later on to wrestle Machine. Commissioner Ricci made sure Jones was ready before unleashing the powerful, pierced menace known as Machine.
8. Justice Jones vs Machine
These two beasts traded off blows and hard shots. Jones was stunned by the series of knife edge chops. These two gave the most physical match of the evening. A sleeper by Jones slowed the pace down and almost earned him a major win. The cockiness of Jones reared its ugly head as he attempted to cover Machine with one foot unsuccessfully. An Anderson spine buster put Machine back in the contest. A lucky roll-up by Jones gave him the shocking victory.
Winner: Justice Jones
9. The NAPW Champion "The Strangler" Diego Corleone vs "The Hater" Pauly Thomaselli vs Derek St. Holmes, ESQ. (Best 2-Out-Of-4 Falls)
Fall #1) This was the main event of the evening. The champion and Thomaselli opened the bout duking it out in the ring as a crafty St. Holmes watched outside on the floor. Derek enters to attack his two adversaries. Corleone and St. Holmes formed a short-lived bond against "The Hater". A double back body drop sent Thomaselli crashing to the mat. St. Holmes loss his concentration with the crowd as Corleone gave a thunderous DDT to Thomaselli. Pinfall by the champion.
Winner of Fall #1: "The Strangler" Diego Corleone
Fall #2) This was by far the shortest fall. The "always-thinking" St. Holmes rolled-up the champion to give him a victory.
