The "Keys to the Kingdom" is a night the fans will never forget. The Good, the Bad , the Ugly kept the fans of their feet all night long.
12 teams were scheduled to wrestle. But only 6 teams would survive and get to the main event where every man and women would compete for themselves. Ruff Crossing is the defending champion. Take note that every person will do what they can to get to the main event for a chance to get at those"KEYS". Keys that unlock opportunities to every Poww championship title.
To open the night World Champion Ruff Crossing and Rawbone Roughneck David Hokinson and Nikki St John entered the ring. Nikki was trying to explain why she did what she did at the Melrose Park Civic Center. (( Nikki turn her back on the fans and clobbers Ruthless Ramon with a chairshot, causing him to lose the title to Crossing.)) But the jammed packed standing room only crowd would hear nothing she wanted to say. The noise was deafening.. Nikki tried to explain herself but she couldn't get over the crowd noise. The trio left and the fans did not get to hear Nikki and her lame excuses.
In the first match new comers Threat Level Black (Mikey Wild/CJ Idol) beat William Jacobs and The Grim Reaper to advance to the main event.
It looked like Psychotic Rage had this match in the bag. Justin James, who was on commentary interfered and cost Psychotic Rage the match to Stonewall and the Insurgent.
Joey Cece was called for his tour of duty so Chris Cairo had to go it alone against GQ and Logan Scott. Scott and GQ bitter rivals, fought each other during the match. Chris Cairo sees his opening and hits the bumrush on Scott for the pin and win. Scott and Gq battle after the match.
Superstar Billy Ray and Legendary Trevor Blanchard advance with a win over Brawn the Lumberjack and Vinnie Riot.
Eric Freedom hits the hippie hippie shake on David Hokinson, Melanie Cruise leg drop off the second rope , Freedom gets the pin and win over Hokinson and Nikki. Crossing tried to get involved but was taken down by Freedom. The fans loved this match. Too much action to describe.
The Agency (Vic Capri/Milad Akbar w/chazz moretti) advance with win over American History Next (Hardcore Craig/Brandon Torino.)
THE BUNKHOUSE BATTLE ROYAL...Crossing defends..over the top rope eliminations apply.
It took 5 to eliminate the massive Stonewall. Came down to the final three...Freedom, Cairo, Crossing.
Crossing eliminates Freedom. Freedom upset, starts "Brokeback" chants. The fans join in and the noise is deafening once again. Crossing appears to be distracted by the chants. Cairo sees his spot and eliminates Crossing to win "The Keys". Meanwhile Freedom retreats and Crossing battered, bloodied, bruised and exhausted cant believe what just happened. Cairo now the new Keymaster quickly cashes in the world title key seeing he has the advantage over the fatigued Crossing. Now we have a bonus match.....
Chris Cairo after a few near pinfalls on the champ, falls victim to the pump handle tombstone....Crossing retains title
~ Eric Freedom now returns to the ring. Freedom wants title match with Crossing. Crossing now pissed for whatever reason 'shoots' on the former 2x champion. Ruff saying he wants the old Eric Freedom not the washed up old man like he is now. Crossing/Freedom go back and forth. Crossing then unleashes a verbal assault on Freedom and his wife. Crossing so much slapping Eric across the face a few times. It looked like there was going to be a fist fight. But Freedom must have thought twice on tangling with the more young and powerful Crossing. All the fans were stunned on what was taking place. There was complete silence. Freedom finally had enough and walks away. Seconds later he returns with his gear and says he had it ....leaves the building with wife.... PISSED....
