The Elburn Community Center in Elburn, IL once again played host to NAPW (North American Pro Wrestling) action on Saturday, April 21st, 2012. Last month was a disappointing show as attendance was low and the show itself wasn't the greatest. A bigger, louder crowd was treated to a wonderful show headlined by an outstanding main event. The NAPW Title match between "The Impact Hater" Pauly Thomaselli vs Justice Jones was a Brawl Fest Classic.
The lovely Cookie Lady made her return to the venue. Local Elburn youngster Ian was in attendance with his wonderful mom and charming grandmother. Ian loves his wrestling. "The All American/The Massive Mountain" Michael Mack returned to action following his knee surgery. Hats off to Mack! DC Video 108 was on hand selling DVDs. The hot dogs were much better this time. Red Bull was added for refreshments. The fans were wild and ready to roar.
Our wonderful Master of Ceremony "The Articulator" Steve Kenton opened the show as always with the introductions of our colored commentator Bobby "The Mean Brain Okerlund" and our referees Johnny Swift and Adam Lewis. Also at ringside for her second NAPW show was the gorgeous ringside girl Kadance Kelli. She is worth the $12 admission price.
1. "The Warrior" Barry Ryte vs "The Difference" Joey Rose in the final match of their Best-of-Seven Series.
Barry Ryte even the series last month when a kick put Joey Rose unconscious. Rose addressed the audience that revenge was on his mind. The two rivals attempted to shake hands but Joey quickly jabbed an elbow into Ryte's jaw. Barry countered with a go-behind only to get clocked with another stiff elbow. Rose followed with a series of hard punches and shattering chest chops. A runaway train in Joey clotheslines Barry sending both men spilling onto the arena floor. The tide changes when Joey unsuccessfully elbows the ring post instead of his rival. Ryte wears down Rose in the ring with a chin lock. A ferocious football tackle floors "The Warrior". An angry Rose removes the turnbuckle pad. Ryte eventually hits the unprotected corner and then receives a deadly Alabama slam/powerbomb combo.
Winner: "The Difference" Joey Rose
*Hats off tow both men for a great Best-of-Seven Series.
2. Doug Simmons vs Alex Bernadino
*Commissioner Rockin Randy Ricci announced before the match that if Alex Bernadino loses, he'll be placed into the Rookie Gauntlet match. Alex has been struggling as of late.
Bernadino sprinted around the ring like he was the Ultimate Warrior. He then enters the ring and dances like Travolta on the set of "Grease". Simmons attacks his younger opponent from behind. Simmons mocks his opponent by dancing only to receive a clothesline. Alex almost pulls off the duke with a DDT. Alex whips Simmons into the rope, demonstrates an impressive leap-frog and gets caught by Simmons into a thunderous AA spine-buster. The ruthless Simmons stomps Alex and tosses him back-first into the corner. These two were putting on an impressive match. The rookie met his downfall when he attempted to leap off the ropes and was placed into a backstabber.
Winner: Doug Simmons.
3. Texas Pete and Jack Carpenter vs Willie "Da Bomb" Richardson and "The Love Machine" Matt Longtime.
*Once again Mr. Ricci announced that if the team of Pete & Carpenter lost, they were both in the Rookie Gauntlet match.
The veteran Longtime opened the bout with an arm bar on Carpenter. Jack counters with a headlock and tags in Pete. Texas Pete made an unsuccessful shoulder block sending himself to the canvas. Carpenter tags back in only to take a beating by Richardson. The crowd pops big time for Pete. Longtime gets in a jam when he misses a corner splash and receives a chop block to his knee by Pete. Carpenter & Pete make quick tags and work over the injured left knee. The crowd really pops when Pete attempts a scorpion claw. Both Pete and Carpenter attempt to dive off the top rope on an injured "Love Machine" only to each receive a boot to the jaw. Longtime tags a fresh Richardson. A wild roar of applause goes to Richardson as he cleans house with elbows and body slams to his foes. Richardson and Longtime score the win with a double roll-up for a double pin.
Winners: Willie"Da Bomb" Richardson & "The Love Machine" Matt Longtime
4. Machine vs "Reckless" Jay Kross
Battle of two bulls! Machine dishes out some hard chops in the corner. Huge slam to Kross. Machine delivers a double chop to the throat area. A low tackle by Kross turns the tide. 5. Grin vs "The All American/The Massive Mountain" Michael Mack
This was a short match but it was exciting. The crafty, speedy Grin vs the power and strength of Mack. The "U. S. A." chant echoed throughout the Elburn Community Center as Michael Mack made his return since his knee injury last November.
The two grapplers locked up and "The Massive Mountain" tossed Grin back into the corner. Grin attempted to wear down the big man with a headlock. The two went at it for a while. It was speed vs power. The tiring Mack caught Grin with a huge clothesline. A devastating spear whipped the smirk off Grin's face.

Winner: #1 Cameron Jacobs
* Hardcore Craig came to ringside. Jacobs slithered out and returned to the backstage. Their match would take place after the intermission.
