Here at 115. Decent crowd for the show. Mostly full.
Shamrock no showed, but Sabu is here.
Entry on the stage.
They got $500 for toys for tots.
1) Titan/ tweak d Northstache
2) daniels d isaias via top rope Canadian Destroyer.
3) mschif d truth with sub.
4) Irish airborne d Jacobs & cannon to win tag titles.
5) Silas young rolled up bj for pin after bj got head kick from kyle. Fine.
6) dan Lawrence d j miller.
7) Sami callahan d shane & sabu.
8) Michael Elgin d. Davey Richards after two spinning forearms, a Lyger bomb, and a spinning powerbomb.
EDITING: Sorry for the shortness and lack of description. I was on a Ipod touch and the WiFi was not so good. It was a massive turnout at 115, but the wrestling room was filled pretty well. I'd guess a few Berwyn people and a lot of newcomers, so the heat for the first three matches could have been better.
The notice that Shamrock would not be showing was on the front door of Bourbon St. I was told there were not a lot of asking for refunds, but anybody coming into the building without a ticket could have seen that sign and walked away. How many? Who knows?
Truth actually told MsChif he was going to kick her in the c-word. Yep.
Jacobs/Cannon vs. IA turned the show around. They went a good long brawl around the hall. Jacobs was left on a balcony and it was two-on-one. They ended up on the stage, and Jimmy ended up jumping onto IA from the balcony.
Why Mr. Miller continues to be jobbed, even if it was Lawrence's hand on the ropes, is beyond me.
I was just happy Sabu showed up. Usual chair throwing and spots from him. He did shake Sami's hand afterwards.
Richards vs. Elgin was quite good. Power vs. athleticism early on. They let the match breathe a bit and it was full of strong-style foolishness. Elgin tried to sell his leg a bit after Davey worked on it. Davey got his back posted but didn't sell it much.
It was a short show, just under three hours. That was fine by me, since I'd rather get home before all the drunks left 115.
