This is the AAW page on Smark Mark Video: www.smartmarkvideo.com/aaw-pro-wrestling-redefinedBookmark it. Check it everyday until this show goes on sale. Then buy it. You will not regret it. I don't like to pump things up. Not everything on the show was great. But nothing was awful, unless you count the cheering for Seaman and Mr. Solo mocking my receeding hairline. I've been going to shows in Berwyn off and on since I moved to Chicago almost eight years ago. I've seen a lot. I've missed a lot, but I've caught a lot. I don't recall ever being at a show in that building--AAW, SHIMMER, etc--that was that strong. Joey Eastman got a book to the head and wore Beras Zuba pants. I guess that feud is over. Mixed Martial Archie vs. Davey Richards...wow. Davey kinda played it straight. Archie was just plum loco/over. See the training video. See this. Archie set up for the crane kick and Davey responded with a head kick KO. Elgin & ACH saved MMA from a beatdown from Team Ambition and proceeded to have the best match in the history of the Eagles Club. ACH dove onto Richards and went for the 450, but O'Reilly blocked it and got the roll. It just built and built and built and they probably went too long, but not full of the totally ridiculous no-selling, although there was some of that. You could totally suspend disbelief. It was that great. Probably a ****1/2 match on the Meltzer scale. No argument with higher. Eddie Kingston's debut could not have gone better, unless you despise gay slurs, which Eddie directed to one man in the crowd in particular. He beat three hated heels uber quick. turned on the crowd after Silas' big win, knocked Val Malone around, and just dropped Silas hard through the table. It's on now. Totally. That's how you kick off a feud that can go awhile. "Your company is going to change because your company finally has a king. Test my gangster, partner." Hollister vs. Sami had to follow all this. And they nearly did it. Such brutality. Sami sold some gut shots. Scarlett got put in the horse collar. Suplex no a steel chair won it. Shane is that good now. Reminds me a lot of Funk vs. Flair "I Quit." Just brutal, torturous violence, but not a ton of gimmicks and plunder. Just brutal, brutal, brutal. Please get this show. You will not regret it.

Kingston debut and double turn w/ Silas sounds epic. Old school western vibe:
-New bad-ass comes into town, does good work -Calls and takes down hometown bad-gun, and his woman -Makes homeboy look good and himself even badder.
Might have to cop and follow this live.
No HOoPla hotties though, disappointing. Purpose of calling it uncut is... ?

Good on ya JTB for getting the word out to Dave & Bryan.
Only saw the second half of the tag match, completely usually hate the work of two of the four guys and still found the match insanely phenomenal. Kyle mostly kept out of the way, which definitely helped. Davey, unless he did most of his unnecessary signature spots in the first half of the match, kept away from what I usually dislike about him, and just worked along with the flow of the match and was awesome, it really was something great.
And the Main is also worth seeking out. Like Jake said, light on the plundah and heavy on the hitting, and boy there was a lot of good hitting.
Two of the better matches I've seen in a good long while.
