The Crash Course - Recap of Rise to Honor X: Wow, where to start! First of all hats off to all the talent who performed Friday night at the KOC in West Allis WI. Everyone was on their "A" game and gave an all out effort. The capacity crowd was really into it and the matches were great to watch. Shows like this are why independent wrestling is more entertaining than the WWE or TNA. In most cards every match could have been given my "Match of the Night" status. On this show, Tomasso Ciampa vs GQ Greeko Suave in my opinion, stole the show for in-ring action and drama. Lots of near falls, high flying moves, unbelievable match. Pornstache Peter Schwanz vs Silas Young and Dysfunction vs Sadist were a very close second. Some twists and turns occurred as well. I will post a detailed recap in two parts, but in short, Sadist has honored his part of the deal and is leaving BCW. Dysfunction successfully retained his title, but a dejected yet gracious Sadist shook his hand in the end and left the federation with class and dignity. He will be missed, as I consider him a top talent who could go very far in this business. The Beer City Bruisers have split and Brandon Blaze has joined up with Assault & Battery along with JP. This makes A&B an even deadlier force than before. UAT completed their hat trick on the BCB. Shonda Coleman valiantly battled Stacy Shadows and took a nasty german suplex that put a scare into the announce team and the crowd as she came down on the side of her head and looked to damage her neck. I hope Shonda is OK, she put on a great performance as did Stacy. Psychotic Rage is no more. The timing issues were too much to overcome and Jim Blaze and Mitch Blake have split, and not too amicably. They will face each other on the next show. Shawn Weber was honored again and Steve Corino and Jake "The Snake" Roberts both gave very personal and heartfelt interviews, speaking directly to the fans. Just another reason to appreciate independent wrestling. Joey Avalon attacked Dysfunction after his successful title defense and promptly became victim of the innovator of the DDT, Jake "The Snake" Roberts. Oh yes, and Jake's snake, Revelation, came into play as he put the squeeze on Avalon. More on each match during the recap.
