GALLI is no officially IWA's GALLI Lucha Libre
The 1st TV Taping for IWA in years is in the books and these are the results.
The show started out with Valentino, D’Angelo Steele and Chico Suave ‘2 sexy 4 u’ fell to ‘Rebelion Chicana’ Traidor, Dark Scorpion and Destructor Jr. As Traidor pinned Chico Suave.
In the 2nd match of the night Ovirload assured his entrance into the finals to be crowned the 1st Aero Champion in GALLI by defeating Kunai Silencio.
In the 3rd match Golden Dragon tried to use his speed to stop the power of Punisher 747 but was unsuccessful as the stronger man won.
The 4th bout saw the highflying Joey Marx tag with Matt Knicks and Chris Castro to defeat ‘Syndicate members’ Mason Conrad along with GALLI Tag Team Champions Barry Ryte and Mason Conrad.
In the 5th Mojo Maqueen defeated Kid Hybrid in his GALLI Lucha Libre debut.
The semi-final saw the Puerto Rican Star Ricky Cruz along with N8 Mattson and Emperador Azteca defeated his arch rival and countryman Noriega who was teaming with Chicago Lucha legend Discovery and his student Furia Roja.
The Main Event had the self proclaimed King of GALLI ‘Bryce Benjamin’ tag with unfamiliar partner Mike Anthony take on and fall to up and coming star GPA and Chicago favorite Acid Jazz.
Great 1st taping and a lot to look forward to for IWA in the coming months.
