Not a must-see show, but considering Kingston & Walking Weapon pulled off, it could have been worse.
Eddie missing? Bummer. The promo he cut to try to get some heat? Very nice. I gave it a standing O, even though it wasn't that spectacular. But he is holding a cig while his Mom is in the hospital for a asthma attack. Eddie is crazy:
Banks didn't look bad. Still not into Vega. They went to the dives a bit early.
Should a face like Marion Fontaine be pounding the mat to rally the fans with his foot when his opponents are about to come off the top rope? I don't think so. He didn't look so dire there.
Six-man was OK, but when is Zero Gravity going to split? And would the crowd care if they did? It's not like they talk much, but I don't see where they go as a tag much longer.
Hollister agreed to take on two men at once and shrugged off Scarlet's absence. Is he a Tweener now? Three way was fine and crowd was into Gargano huge. Some superkicks and all that indy jazz.
Ricochet led most of the way. Not as much flippy as you would think. They exchanged holds and Lyndon latched on the dragon sleeper for the choke out/pass out win. Stellar ending. Match was fine.
I'm not into the man vs. woman matches, but this was intense. Heidi was pretty much brutalized and cage would slap her hard when she got the chance. Cage got her on the fireman's carry, but Heidi rolled him up with a crucifix and got the duke. Crowd went bezerk. Cage was fighting with PJ to keep the belt before he awarded it to Heidi. His facials and overall heelishness was great here. Fine way to end the show.
May be a blessing in disguise, as another month to build to Eddie vs. Shane isn't a bad thing.
