CSW Southland’s “Massive Showdown” Results From The Chebanse Civic Center In Chebanse, IL, From 11/18/16:
The Lunatic w/Keeper Erik Edwards defeated Dirty Doc Scurlock
Mr. M80 Marshe Rockett retained the CSW Southland Heavyweight Championship by beating Crescent City Saint Mike Bradley w/C-Red. Shortly after Marshe and C-Red had a war of words at the beginning of the event, Mike Bradley attacked the champion from behind. After the beat down, C-Red mentioned that Bradley would face Marshe Rockett later in the night, but Rockett taunted Bradley back to the ring. Doug Keast decided that the title bout would take place right away instead of later in the main event. #1 Contender Ian Gauger tried to distract Rockett towards the end of the bout, but Rockett retained anyway.
Andy Black w/Chris Miller defeated Malex Matthews w/Sombra Del Gato
Beau Regard Bulletproof Beau Anderson beat Maxx Star partially due to a low blow and a sneak attack where Anderson claimed to have suffered potentially fatal career ending injuries in his last Fans Bring The Weapons Match against Brawn The Lumberjack. Anderson took off his neckbrace while Star’s back was turned and viciously attacked Maxx Star rendering Star easy pickings for Anderson.
Mad Dog Ivan Manson w/Charlie Jr. & Newest Family Member Jake Andrews defeated Jay Kross w/Backwoods Brown partially due to a miscue between Kross and Brown.
Sombra Del Gato w/Malex Matthews beat Chris Miller w/Maxx Star & Andy Black when Black smashed Miller with a solid steel chain to the head and ran back towards the locker room
Backwoods Brown w/Jay Kross defeated Brawn The Lumberjack w/Keeper Erik Edwards & Lunatic
Hell’s Cowboy Hunter Paine w/Mike Neumann beat Jake Andrews w/Charlie Jr. After the bout, Hunter Paine and Neumann attacked Andrews, and Hunter Paine knocked out Charlie Jr. with a punch. Ivan Manson w/a chain eventually cleared the ring.
The Lunatic w/Keeper Erik Edwards defeated #1 Contender Clydesdale Ian Gauger thanks partially to the distraction by Mr. M80 Marshe Rockett. An extremely aggravated and angered Gauger made the challenge to wrestle Rockett for the CSW Southland Heavyweight Championship right away. Gauger changed his mind, backed down, was instructed by CSW Southland President Doug Keast to return to the ring, & made a bonus main event between Gauger and Rockett for the title.
CSW Southland Heavyweight Champion Mr. M80 Marshe Rockett wrestled Clydesdale Ian Gauger to a Double Countout. Once the action returned back to the ring, the brawl continued where officials were pushed down. Suddenly, the entire locker room tried to hold both men back, but Gauger and Rockett continued to attack one another several times. Rockett vowed to make Gauger pay in their CSW Southland Heavyweight Championship rematch 12/16.
