Good:
Last three matches really saved the show. All well worked, and in the case of Abyss-Cabana, able to be entertaining without a ton of comedy.
Silas & Drew worked well together despite Galloway looking a foot taller. Crowd was rightfully up for this one.
Solid steel cage match to open, and Kingston looked ready to flip on PJ Drummond.
Jack Evans is able to get reactions without ridiculous highspots. Why he's not on "205 Live" is beyond me.
Nice setup for Kongo Kong to challenge. Scarlett sold the piledriver like a champ.
Tyler Volz is comfy on the mic.
JT Davidson is the real heel manager needed to stir stuff up.
Bad:
Title match booking. Sami Callahan is a stud you can build a promotion around. He can fight, talk, etc. He gets beat in a minute by a female (Candace LaRae) via a reverse rana, so she gets a title shot that same night. They go into the next match, plenty of hope spots, another reverse rana (did Josh Alexander teach us nothing?), and Sami kicks out at two? Sami reverses and wins by submission. Crowd loved the match. I hated the booking. There is a time when men-women wrestling is OK. Booking it like this for a talent like Sami was not.
Galloway-Silas should have been the main. That was the emotional highpoint of the night and it should have been saved to thank Silas for what he did for the promotion.
Richards-Sydal had ZERO HEAT. They worked ok, but crowd was dead. Bad card placement.
4-way was spots and dancing. OK, but what was on the line? Time-filler.
Martinez-Angelina Love was one of the worst SHIMMER-sanctioned matches I've ever seen. Love is not a great worker, and Mercedes couldn't help much.
Ring crew took too long to get the cage down and botched the rope fix, but they did get it done.
I still don't get Vega/Fitchett.
Main event was distracted by watching Silas sell gear, but it wasn't bad considering the styles (power vs. high-flying).
