Global Professional Wrestling (GPW) Results From The Don Preston Recreation Center In Midlothian, IL, From Saturday Night, June 3, 2017:
GPW announced that 3 qualifying matches would be taking place on the show where the winners would go on to compete for the new vacant Global Championship on July 1. Also, all winners of previous bouts would qualify to compete in the main event GPW Battle Royal Championship Match in addition to any and all other invited competitors that were not in previous bouts.
Jake St. Patrick defeated Joe Alonzo partially due to a low blow.
Hollywood Bogan Beau Anderson beat Jack C. Moody
Malex Matthews defeated Mike Strong
Midwest Bully Willie The Bomb Richardson w/C-Red wrestled Impact Wrestling’s Mr. M80 Marshe Rockett to a Double Countout in a Qualifying Match for the new GPW Championship. As a result, both competitors were eliminated from participating 7/1.
Rage & Fury (Tommy Madux & Jeffro King) beat The Family (Mad Dog Ivan Manson & Brawn The Lumberjack) w/Charlie Jr. by Disqualification when Chris Miller interfered on behalf of the Family with a solid steel chain. Before the match started, Charlie Jr. announced that Chris Miller was the newest member of the Family. After the bout, Mitch Blake ran in to make the save from the multiple man Family attack. An impromptu challenge was made and accepted where Blake, Madux, and King got a quick pinfall win on Manson, Brawn, and Miller in an unofficial bout. However, a 6-Man tag team challenge was made and accepted by Rage and the Family for 7/1.
Jake Andrews defeated Dark Horse Nick Cutler in a Qualifying Match for the new GPW Championship match 7/1.
Repentless (Brutus Owen Wesker, Zamiel, & Savage) beat The Hellbillys (Backwoods Brown & Jay Kross) & Battle Royal Barry BRB
Beau Tatum w/Chazz Moretti defeated Hardcore Craig in a Qualifying Match for the new GPW Championship match 7/1. Tatum & Andrews had a stare down after the bout, and Moretti vowed that Tatum would be the new GPW Champion.
The Lunatic retained the GPW Battle Royal Championship in the main event by winning a multiple megastar GPW Over-The-Top-Rope Battle Royal last eliminating Tee Jay Blaze. Other participants included: Jake St. Patrick, Malex Matthews, Hollywood Bogan, Brutus Owen Wesker, Zamiel, Savage, Tommy Madux, Jeffro King, Vega, Hunk Cassidy, Alvin Gray, Tee Jay Blaze, Johnny Thunder, Brad Kevins, Captain Jack, Mike Brennan, Pretty Boy Floyd, & Chris Miller.
