CSW (Chicago Style Wrestling “Grand Spectacular”) Live Event Results From Edison Park Inn In Chicago, IL, From 7/15/17:
J. Harris won the CSW Futures Division Over-The-Top-Rope Battle Royal. The final two participants were Harris and R. Starr from the Rulers of Wrestling. Before the time limit expired, the two agreed to play rock, paper, scissors to determine who would lay down and who would win the fall and the bout. Other participants included Johnny Thunder, JC Jr., Tee Jay Reign, Jake St. Patrick, Amazing TKG, Andy Black, Amora, Calamity Kate, Ricky The Janitor, Jack Shatter, & Primo Loco.
African Warrior Deuce Tray w/Calamity Kate defeated Jack Shatter partially due to a distraction by Kate allowing Tray to blast Shatter’s back with his staff.
Brad Kevins beat Kalmar Grimkell. After the bout, Grimkell attacked Kevins and locked in a back cranking submission twice.
CJ Esparza defeated Malex Matthews
2-Man Power Trip (Jason Dukes & Midwest Bully Willie The Bomb Richardson) beat Bulletproof Club (Miller Time Chris Miller & Clydesdale Ian Gauger) w/Beau Anderson in a tag team Fans Bring The Weapons Chicago Street Fight. Steve Boz handcuffed himself to Beau Anderson to prevent him from interfering in the bout.
Southeast Gangsta Francisco Ciatso & Dream Killer Eric Wayne w/Chazz Moretti & Stormie Lee defeated Tee Jay Reign & Jake St. Patrick when Wayne threw a fireball in Patrick’s eyes.
Dark Horse Nick Cutler beat Hot Chocolate Acid Jaz by Disqualification to become the #1 Contender for the CSW Heavyweight Championship. Jaz blinded the official by spitting chocolate mist in his eyes. Jaz knocked out the official with a left-handed hook since Jaz thought he beat Cutler with a modified sharpshooter by tap out submission.
Italian Bad Girl Stormie Lee w/Chazz Moretti & Francisco Ciatso defeated Malia Hosaka partially due to outside interference by Lee’s corner men.
CSW Heavyweight Champion Jake Andrews beat CSW Metra Division Champion Filth King Brubaker by Disqualification in a Title For Title Match when Nick Cutler interfered and attacked Andrews who hit the flying knee smash on Brubaker. Since the bout ended in a Disqualification, neither title changed hands.
