Global Professional Wrestling (GPW) Results From The Don Preston Recreation Center In Midlothian, IL, From Saturday Night, September 2, 2017:
Jake St. Patrick defeated Brad Kevins as a result of a disqualification due to outside interference by Alex Romero.
Skrubaul & Jose El Magnifico wrestled to a Double Countout.
Reign Of Thunder (Tee Jay Reign & Johnny Thunder) w/Chazz Moretti beat Red Flag Army (Matthew Fontaine & Mercenary Alvin Gray) when Reign hit Fontaine with a low blow.
American Lucha Malex Matthews defeated Willie The Bomb Richardson w/C-Red partially due to outside interference from Amora while the referee was distracted.
The Lunatic beat The Great Cardini. After the bout, Cardini attacked Lunatic and whipped him repeatedly. A challenge was laid out for rematch between the two for next month where the loser would have to receive 5 lashes with the whip.
Matt Dewar defeated Pretty Boy Floyd. There was a stipulation prior to the bout that if either man hit a low blow on the other, then there would be a mandatory 90-Day Suspension. At one point or another during the bout, despite the referee being disoriented, both men executed a low blow on the other anyway.
Rage & Fury (Tommy Madux & Jeffro King) beat The Family (Mad Dog Ivan Manson & Miller Time Chris Miller) w/Charlie Jr.
Mr. M80 Marshe Rockett retained the #1 Contendership for the GPW Championship by defeating Beau Tatum w/Chazz Moretti. BRB confronted Tatum early and often during the bout. When official Seymore Butts was knocked silly, Mitch Blake arrived on the scene to ban BRB from ringside and became the new official for the bout. Blake showed favoritism for Marshe for the remainder of the bout.
Jake Andrews retained the GPW Championship by beating Brutus Owen Wesker BOW w/Zamiel & Machine. After the bout, Repentless members attacked Jake Andrews until Jake fought back in addition to the appearance of Marshe Rockett to help Jake Andrews even the odds. A challenge was made and accepted for 10/7 between Marshe Rockett & Jake Andrews for the title.
Jack F. Moody retained the GPW Battle Royal Championship by last eliminating Marshe Rockett. Moody used his Bathroom Pass to excuse himself from most of the match due to some sort of food poisoning. Moody returned towards the end at full strength to eventually overcome the odds to win yet again. Other participants included Lunatic, Jose El Magnifico, Malex Matthews, J. Harris, R. Starr, Hank Cassidy, Tee Jay Reign, Johnny Thunder, JC Jr., Kalvin Grimkell, Brawn The Lumberjack, Zamiel, Machine, Flash Harris, Jeffro King, Tommy Madux, American Laborer, Jake St. Patrick, the Beauster, & Invader #92.
