Global Professional Wrestling (GPW) Results From The Don Preston Recreation Center In Midlothian, IL, From Saturday Night, October 7, 2017:
War Boy Quinn Whittock wrestled Mr. 100 Joey Dalton to a No Contest when C-Red, Willie Richardson, & The Rulers Of Wrestling interfered attacking both men. Willie called out DJ Amora for a match, but Malex Matthews came out to Amora’s defense. A challenge was made for a rematch between Malex and Willie where a Willie win would result in Willie scoring a one-on-one match with DJ Amora 11/4 and a Malex win would result in Willie no longer being allowed to have anyone in his corner.
Midwest Bully Willie Richardson w/C-Red & Rulers Of Wrestling defeated Malex Matthews w/DJ Amora. After the bout, Willie, C-Red, & Rulers Of Wrestling beat down Malex, and Willie gave the urban elbow to Amora. As a result of the stipulation, Willie Richardson will wrestle DJ Amora 11/4.
Brawn The Lumberjack w/Charlie Jr. beat Colin Smith
Mad Dog Ivan Manson w/Charlie Jr. & Chris Miller defeated Jake St. Patrick partially due to outside interference by Miller smashing Patrick with a steel chain.
Reign of Thunder (Tee Jay Reign & Johnny Thunder) w/Chazz Moretti beat Spot Monkeys (Alex Romero & Brad Kevins) & Red Flag Army (Alvin Gray & Matthew Fontaine) in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match.
Rage & Fury (Mitch Blake & Jeffro King) defeated Repentless (Zamiel & Machine). After the bout, an imposter masked BRB attacked Mitch Blake. Then, the real BRB arrived to scare off the imposter and confronted Mitch Blake. Real BRB reconciled with Blake & King to issue a challenge to the imposter and two partners of his choosing 11/4.
Lunatic beat Great Cardini in a Loser Gets 5 Lashes Match. Lunatic’s weapon of choice, the kendo stick, was smashed repeatedly across the back of Cardini to score revenge for the whipping Lunatic absorbed a month earlier.
Rulers Of Wrestling (J. Harris & R. Starr) w/C-Red defeated The Hellbillies (Backwoods Brown & Jay Kross) partially due to a low blow and interference from C-Red.
Beau Tatum w/Chazz Moretti won the GPW Championship by beating Mr. M80 Marshe Rockett & Jake Andrews in a Triple Threat Match. The bout originally was supposed to be #1 Contender Rockett against Champion Andrews, but Tatum interrupted the bout early causing the initial No Contest. Rockett challenged Tatum to make the match a Triple Threat instead. Tatum went on to win the bout and the title pinning Jake Andrews. Marshe hit the M80 on Andrews, and Tatum knocked out Marshe with loaded knuckles when the official was distracted by Moretti.
Jack Moody retained the GPW Battle Royal Championship by last eliminating Jake Andrews. Andrews thought he won the bout, but Moody only had one foot on the floor. Moody won the restart. Other participants included JC Jr., Jack Shatter, Joey Rose, Johnny Thunder, Tee Jay Reign, Cotts, Chris Miller, Brawn The Lumberjack, Ivan Manson, Mike Strong, Invader #92, Savage, Calvin Lane, Dark Soul TKG, Lunatic, & Jeffro King.
