Powerhouse Wrestling Xtreme's "Takeover" (PWX) Results From Outside The Silver Slipper Saloon In Ottawa, IL, From Saturday, June 9, 2018:
PWX CEO & AWA official Jimmy Smooth, flanked by Portia & Angel, welcomed fans to the event and introduced the PWX Commissioner Joey Roth. Several announcements about the upcoming AWA Heavyweight Contenders Matches & other happenings on the show were being made until Controversial One Ken Kato arrived on the scene. After a war of words, Roth proclaimed that Ken Kato would have to prove himself in PWX to earn any sort of future championship opportunity by winning the next 3 out of 5 matches. Kato accepted the challenge and also left with Angel, one of Jimmy’s friends.
Da Situation DOJ w/Walking Boss defeated The Difference Joey Rose
Tully Adonis w/Moxie Mollie beat Punisher 747 partially due to a distraction from Mollie and Tully spraying perfume in 747’s eyes. 747 challenged Tully to a Dog Collar Grudge Match 7/14.
Pretty Boy Floyd & Justa Mazing w/C-Red defeated The Sideshow (Fester & Gobaldi)
Yakuza beat Super K@oz by verbal submission in a Lucha Libre attraction
KO Kendra defeated Moxie Mollie
Wildman Beast beat Controversial One Ken Kato in a Fans Bring The Weapons Match. Towards the end, Portia slapped and distracted Kato allowing Beast to recover, spike slam, and capture the win. Portia, Angel, & Jimmy Smooth celebrated as Ken Kato’s future is already in doubt in PWX.
Underwear Model Eric Priest defeated Filth King Brubaker in an AWA Heavyweight Contenders Match
