Global Professional Wrestling (GPW) Results From The Don Preston Recreation Center In Midlothian, IL, From Saturday Night, July 7, 2018:
Miller Time Chris Miller defeated Physical Specimen Maverick Cage as a result of a Disqualification when Cage executed two blatant low blows in succession.
The Lunatic beat 747 w/Chazz Moretti. After the bout, 747 attacked & chokeslamed Lunatic until Who made the save. Lunatic and Who worked together & fought off 747 to avoid further harm.
GPW Battle Royal Champion Willie Richardson w/C-Red defeated Jake Andrews. Jake smashed Willie with a flying knee & C-Red with a cheap shot after the bout. Jake focused his post match attack on injuring Willie Richardson’s arm by any means necessary even using the solid steel ring post.
Tommy Madux & Backwoods Brown wrestled to a Double Countout when neither participant could answer the referee’s count as a result of physicality on the outside including Madux’s spear on Backwoods Brown through a pair of steel doors to an auxiliary room of the Don Preston Recreation Center.
Hardcore Impact (Pauly Thomaselli & Hardcore Craig) beat The Family (Brawn The Lumberjack & Mad Dog Ivan Manson) w/Charlie Jr. when Brawn’s head was crushed onto a stationary fan via a double team face buster while the referee was attending to the wounded Manson on the floor.
Mitch Blake defeated Jack H. Moody in an impromptu match made by General Manager Steve Ahrendt partially due to Moody interrupting Ahrendt’s son’s birthday celebration.
Brawler Jay Kross beat The Crusader w/Chazz Moretti
Spot Monkeys (Brad Kevins & Andy Black) retained the GPW Tag Team Championships by defeating Repentless (Brutus Owen Wesker & All American Scumbag Machine)
Zamiel beat Yabo The Clown in a 4-Corners Balloon Match. After the bout, Zamiel assaulted Yabo with a kendo stick.
All Day Marshe Rockett defeated Jason Hades & GPW Champion Beau Tatum in a Triple Threat Championship Match when 747 w/Moretti attacked Tatum on the floor while Rockett beat Hades in the ring. General Manager Steve Ahrendt overruled the referee’s decision of allowing a title change to occur by stipulating that Tatum was still the champion and would have to defend against 747 on 8/4.
Miller Time Chris Miller won the GPW Battle Royal Championship by last eliminating the Extreme Raditz. Willie Richardson could not defend the title due to his injured arm from Jake Andrews earlier in the evening. C-Red tried to defend the title unsuccessfully for Willie. The participants included Chris Miller, Extreme Raditz, C-Red, Jake Andrews, Calendar Crew’s Josh, Who, Lunatic, Alex Bernadino, Crusader, 747, Brutus Owen Wesker, Machine, Zamiel, Jack I. Moody, Eddie Vendetta, Enigma, Kevin Woods, J. C. Hazard, Tommy Madux, Maverick Cage, Brad Kevins, Andy Black, & Amazing Turtle Mike Brennan.
