Global Professional Wrestling (GPW) Results From The Don Preston Recreation Center In Midlothian, IL, From Saturday Night, August 4, 2018:
General Manager Steve Ahrendt reported that he suspended Mr. Ricolo & that he would ring announce the event.
Kalendar Kid defeated Johnny Thunder
Alex Bernadino beat Physical Specimen Maverick Cage
The Horde (Crusader & Kalmar The Raider) w/Chazz Moretti defeated Rage & Fury (Tommy Madux & Jeffro King) w/Mitch Blake. Moretti distracted the official when Rage & Fury had Kalmar down. Blake chased off Moretti. King obtained Crusader’s metal armour but knocked out his partner Madux by accident. Crusader grabbed the armour back and crowned King in the head with the foreign object for the win.
Jake Andrews beat Willie Richardson w/C-Red. Towards the end of the bout, the official was knocked silly on accident by Richardson. Andrews used a crutch on Willie, nailed a cheap shot on C-Red, & smashed Willie with a flying knee for the win.
Jack I. Moody defeated Brawler Jay Kross by using the ropes for leverage. Ahrendt issued a warning to official Lou Tufano for not paying attention to the infraction.
Lunatic w/The Who wrestled All Day Marshe Rockett to a No Contest when Jake Andrews ran in to attack both participants. The ruling was made by General Manager Steve Ahrendt. Another warning was issued to official Lou Tufano for not throwing the match out due to the interference.
Zamiel beat Brutus Owen Wesker. Originally, Zamiel was supposed to wrestle Yabo The Clown, but BOW appeared and reached out of a gift wrapped box to attack Zamiel. After Zamiel scored the win, All American Scumbag Machine attacked Zamiel with a low blow. Zamiel eventually fought off both Machine & BOW citing that Yabo’s gift was to turn Repentless against him. Zamiel challenged Yabo 9/1 to a Hardcore Presents Match.
Spot Monkeys (Brad Kevins & Andy Black) retained the GPW Tag Team Championships by defeating The Family (Brawn The Lumberjack & Mad Dog Ivan Manson) w/Charlie Jr.
Beau Tatum retained the GPW Championship by beating 747 w/Chazz Moretti. 747 initially won the title by using a foreign object. General Manager Steve Ahrendt ordered the bout to be restarted due to incompetent officiating by Lou Tufano. Tufano was indefinitely suspended. Eventually, Tatum defeated 747 on the restart with a different official.
Jeffro King won the GPW Battle Royal Championship last eliminating Mitch Blake. Other participants included Lunatic, The Who, Ivan Manson, Crusader, Kalmar The Raider, Alex Bernadino, Jay Kross, Tommy Madux, Zamiel, AJ Raditz, Missa Kate, Savior Storm, Johnny Thunder, Kevin Woods, Jack I. Moody, C-Red, Eddie Vendetta, Kalendar Kid, Maverick Cage, Machine, & Chris Miller.
