SCW (Southland Championship Wrestling’s “New Beginnings”) Live Event Results From Chebanse Civic Center In Chebanse, IL, From 1/26/19:
New SCW President The Sentinel promised new talents in 2019 as well as a brand new Intergender Division. The Sentinel called out Former SCW President Doug Keast to assign him cafeteria/concession duties for the evening and granted Keast select managerial duties for Bulletproof LLC.
Carlos Corona defeated Chris Miller. Miller attacked & chokeslammed Corona after the bout proclaiming that their rivalry was far from over.
RK Savage beat Max Blaylock. After the bout, Savage antagonized the crowd and had a lot of negative comments about his former partner J. Harris. Harris ran down to confront Savage, but Savage exited the rinside area declining to face him in the ring.
Arabian Sheik w/Angus McDuff & Natasha Crane defeated Sgt. Brooks by tapout submission to a Camel Clutch. McDuff distracted the official, and Natasha Crane blasted Brooks in the spine with a metal flagpole leading to the end. The Unholy Alliance beat down Brooks further after the bout.
Flawless Dave Allen w/King Bishop beat J. Harris via a roll-up, a quick 3-Count by ARW official Dave Talbott, & a distraction from RK Savage. Southland’s Bully Hunter Paine ran down to prevent further damage from the ARW contingent and to protect SCW.
Bane X retained the SCW Genesis Championship by defeating Greatest Spectacle In Professional Wrestling DDS w/Doug Keast. DDS had the victory in hand, but Keast had an unnecessary argument with the official at the wrong time. Keast & DDS had an argument afterwards, and Paradox challenged Bane X for the title 2/23.
Black Irish retained the SCW Tag Team Championships by beating The Family (Jake Andrews & Mad Dog Ivan Manson) w/Charlie Jr. & Joey Rancid. Initially, the original official was knocked silly and ARW official Dave Talbott made a quick count to award the Family the tag titles to the delight of King Bishop. The Sentinel shut down Talbott & Bishop and ordered the match to be restarted where Black Irish won via the SCW official’s quick count.
Bobby The Bod Bluze & Adventures Of Moxie Mollie defeated Cupcake Of Professional Wrestling’s Sweet Thang Gino Latino & Amazing Amazon Natasha Crane in a Tag Team Intergender Match.
Southland’s Bully Hunter Paine beat Angus McDuff w/Arabian Sheik & Natasha Crane
Physical Specimen Maverick Cage retained the SCW Heavyweight Championship by defeating Undeniable Nick Cutler as a result of a Disqualification when Cutler was caught red-handed with the title after it was used on Cage’s head. Cutler clocked the official on accident, Cage intended to use the title for himself, Cutler snatched it away, Cutler used it instead, the official saw the infraction, and the official disqualified Cutler. Cutler blasted the official after the bout.
