At #PPW250, Not Bad Chad and Bryce Akers earned their opportunity to challenge the self-proclaimed “special people,” Iniestra and Semsei, for the PPW World Tag Team Championships and they will get their title match this Saturday night, but the champions will have extra incentive to win, because American Ninja Warrior will be in the house, gathering footage of Semsei for his upcoming appearance on the nationally broadcasted program. Will the prospect of nationwide recognition be the extra boost the champions need to retain or will the challengers seize the titles and, in the process, bruise Semsei’s ego heading into his American Ninja Warrior challenge?
ARMAGEDDON GAUNTLET TO CROWN A NEW NUMBER ONE CONTENDER
After a nearly two year hiatus, PPW’s signature match returns this Saturday when we crown a new number one contender to the PPW World Heavyweight Championship in the Armageddon Gauntlet! Participants will draw numbers at random prior to the taping. All of the participants will encircle the ring and act as lumberjacks throughout the course of the contest. The participants who draw numbers one and two will begin the gauntlet. Eliminations are by way of pin fall or submission. When one participant is eliminated, the person who draws the next number in the sequence will take his place while the eliminated participant must leave the ring and join the rest of the lumberjacks. The match continues until only one participant is left standing and that person will earn an opportunity at Matt Vine and the PPW World Heavyweight Championship in the main event on the very same night!
