Powerhouse Wrestling Xtreme (PWX’s “Aftermath”) Results From The Field Of Dreams Outside The Silver Slipper Saloon In Ottawa, IL, From Saturday, June 29, 2019:
PWX Commissioner Joey Roth joined PWX CEO Jimmy Smooth to discuss the details about the show. PWX Heavyweight Champion Brian Blade was joined in the ring by potential challengers Outlaw Tyler Bodine w/Mr. Jon Park, Pretty Boy Floyd, & #1 Contender Cypher. Cypher was guaranteed his title shot against Blade last month, but an opportunity opened up for Bodine & Floyd. If Bodine and Floyd were the final 2 men in the PWX Battle Royal, then they would join Blade & Cypher in the Fatal 4-Way Elimination PWX Heavyweight Championship Main Event.
2AT (Big T & Sweet T) defeated Glass Half Empty (Chris Miller & Ryan Matthews) in a Semi-Final Match Of The #1 Contenders Tag Team Tournament.
GoBaldi wrestled Nacho Clown to a Double Knockout. Both members of the Sideshow continued to play, joke around, insult, and humiliate the official until the official smashed both of their heads together and counted both men down.
Youth Gone Wild (Tom Heisman & Matt Creed) beat Point Of View (AJ Raditz & Jake Sheldon) in a Semi-Final Match Of The #1 Contenders Tag Team Tournament.
Pinoy Prodigy Chris Masangcay defeated Axel Rico partially due to a low blow while the official was distracted.
Fester beat Glass Half Empty (Chris Miller & Ryan Matthews) in a Handicap Challenge Match by submission when Matthews tapped out. Miller was disappointed with Matthews as a partner and challenged Matthews to the next match.
Ryan Matthews wrestled Chris Miller to a Double Countout. Matthews brawled with Miller to a gazebo where Matthews planted Miller with a DDT on a picnic table.
Outlaw Tyler Bodine & Pretty Boy Floyd won the PWX Battle Royal as the final 2 participants to earn their title shot later in the evening. Other participants included Kurt Alexander, Axel Rico, Fester, GoBaldi, Sweet T, Chris Masangcay, Big T, AJ Raditz, Matt Creed, Jake Sheldon, & Tom Heisman.
