CSW (Chicago Style Wrestling’s “Season Premiere”) Live Event Results From The American Legion In Franklin Park, IL From 1/17/20:
Elite Marco Anthony appointed Steve Ahrendt as the new CSW General Manager with the understanding that one favor will eventually deserve another. Meanwhile, Chris Miller attempted to sneak into the event in order to compete. Due to previous stipulations, Miller was banished, but Ahrendt allowed Miller an extra chance if Miller could win the Futures Division Battle Royal.
Shot-Gun Kid Chris Coyote won this month’s CSW Futures Division Battle Royal & Match by defeating Prince T. After the bout, Coyote was attacked by a masked man. Other participants in the Battle Royal included Lee Metallik, Benjamin Diabla, Sabin Guage, Doc Simmons, Bayou Bill, Maverick Boone, King Terrell, Antoine Jordan, Big T, Jake Sheldon, Primo Loco, Cypher, & Chris Miller.
Ice Pick Vic Capri was awarded the new CSW Championship by Steve Ahrendt. Filth King Brubaker interrupted and confronted Vic Capri demanding a rematch. Dark Horse Nick Cutler showed his allegiance and respect for Vic Capri as the new champion. All Day Marshe Rockett proclaimed that he had an interest in a future title shot. Steve Ahrendt declared that the main event tag team match would feature Capri & Cutler vs. Rockett & Brubaker. A win for Brubaker & Rockett would assure them future title shots in successive months. A loss for Brubaker & Rockett would have other damaging ramifications.
Willie Richardson won the Odd Man Out 5-Man Scramble Match by beating Jack Moody, Ryan Matthews, Renvar The Raider, & Nacho Clown.
Skye Blue w/Missa Kate defeated Heather Reckless
Jake Andrews retained the CSW Metra Division Championship by beating Blanco Loco. Blanco Loco & Renvar The Raider attacked Jake Andrews after the bout until Marco Anthony arrived on the scene.
Superstar Steve Boz w/TJ Steel & Kimzilla defeated The Most Dope CJ Esparza as a result of a Disqualification when Jack Shatter returned to CSW to attack TJ Steel, Steve Boz, & CJ Esparza. Eventually, Steel, Boz, & Esparza fought off Shatter. Sportsmanship was demonstrated between Boz & Esparza afterwards.
Dream Girl Ellie won the CSW Women’s Championship by beating Chicago’s Sweetheart Missa Kate w/Skye Blue. Skye prevented Ellie from cheating to win, but Missa blasted Skye with a forearm by mistake leading to Missa losing the title. Missa shoved Skye after the bout.
CSW Champion Vic Capri & Nick Cutler defeated Marshe Rockett & Brubaker due to outside interference by Cypher. When the official was knocked silly, Cypher chokeslammed & piledrove Brubaker in the ring allowing Capri to score the win. Cypher, Cutler, & Capri attacked Rockett after the bout until Acid Jaz returned to CSW to make the save. Steve Ahrendt declared that Brubaker would have to start from the very bottom in CSW while Rockett 2/21/20 would have to wrestle AEW’s Luchasaurus.
