Powerhouse Wrestling Xtreme (PWX/AWA) “New Years Revolution” Results From The Pitstick Pavilion In Ottawa, IL, From Sunday, January 26, 2020:
CEO Jimmy Smooth, Special Guest Referee for the main event #1 Contender Brian Blade, Kurt Alexander, & PWX Heavyweight Champion Cypher w/Mr. Jon Park signed the contract for the match later in the evening. Park threatened legal action on Jimmy Smooth for previous International Alliance setbacks, and Smooth threatened ramifications to Park if he got involved in the main event bout. While Cypher hurled insults towards the fans and his opponent, Alexander passionately proclaimed his motivations for winning the title later in the evening.
Xtreme Thunder (AJ Raditz & Jay Thunder) won the PWX Tag Team Championships by defeating Youth Gone Wild (Tom Heisman & Matt Creed)
Outlaw Tyler Bodine won the Powerhouse Rumble match to qualify for the future PWX United States Championship Round Robin Tournament by last eliminating Ian Onyx Orion. Other participants included Chris Masangcay, Axel Rico, Chris Miller, Cody James, Ryan Matthews, Skye Blue, Jeremiah Bishop, Chris Coyote, Fester, & Bayou Bill.
1000 Horsepower (Mike Daniels & Johnny Andrews) beat King’s Court (Prince T & King Terrell). After the bout, 1000 Horsepower made their claim that they will dominate and eventually win the tag team titles.
Cody James defeated Career Killer Chris Miller. Bronco Braxton attacked Cody James after the bout using a steel chain.
International Alliance (Pinoy Prodigy Chris Masangcay & Phabian Barbosa) w/Mr. Jon Park beat Bayou Bill & Outlaw Tyler Bodine when Bodine betrayed his partner to join the International Alliance. After the bout, a challenge was laid out by Nacho Clown & Xtreme Thunder against International Alliance members Masangcay, Barbosa, & Bodine to a 6-Man Tag Team match at a future event.
Ryan Matthews defeated Skye Blue in an Intergender Match partially due to Ryan using the ropes for leverage.
Ian Onyx Orion beat Jeremiah Bishop. Before the bout, Orion invited & challenged PWX Xtreme Champion The Wild Man Beast to a championship match at a future event.
PWX Intercontinental Champion GoBaldi wrestled Willie Richardson to a Double Disqualification when both participants hit low blows at the same time. After the bout, Metalhead debuted, attacked GoBaldi with a steel rod, and signaled that he was going to put down GoBaldi in the future to become the next champion.
Cypher w/Mr. Jon Park retained the PWX Heavyweight Championship by defeating Kurt Alexander with #1 Contender Brian Blade as the special guest referee. Towards the end, Park interfered by smashing Alexander in the head with a briefcase while Blade was distracted by Cypher. CEO Jimmy Smooth declared that #1 Contender Brian Blade would be the next challenger to face Cypher where Jon Park will be handcuffed outside of the ring by Kurt Alexander at the next live event. Blade reluctantly raised Cypher’s hand as the winner, Cypher attempted an assault on Blade, Blade kicked and clotheslined Cypher out of the ring, and Blade hoisted the heavyweight title in his hands indicating that he’d be the next champion.
